Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18.
Remember back when a midweek fixture was an exciting rarity? It is hardly an uncommon occurrence these days and one to which we shall be treated to quite a few more times before the season is up. There are in fact three of these in the next five GW’s and even one of those (DGW19) straddles a midweek.
As for this one it begins on Tuesday at 6pm as Sheffield and Newcaste unite to see who can score the least goals. Then at 8.15pm Burnley host half the games captain in the shape of Bruno. At the same time Wolves welcome Everton.
Wednesday begins at 6pm with the other halves captain (KdB) hosting Brighton. Spurs (now) welcome a reluctant Fulham at 8.15pm.
Arsenal and Palace see us out on Thursday at 8pm.
And don’t forget that once the above GW ends on Thursday evening the next one begins on Saturday and that one is a double so get your planning sorted early doors!
The games in full…

Pep said that Kevin didn’t take that penalty cos he was fatigued. Anyone think with 2 games coming up in quick succession that Pep may rest Kev for one of them?
Was considering TC on him but I think I’ll save it now.
Too fatigued to take a penalty? He must have been very tired :hippo:
Ha ha yeah, bless him.
As soon as Pep mentions tiredness though it makes me pay attention
…but KDB did look exhausted when the cameras panned to him. His head was down, and looked covered in sweat. He’d just made a valiant run to get the penalty-but it still cost me 3/6 points.
If you consider Lowton to Atrium is your FT since both would be benched then the question is :
1. -4 for Adams -> Antonio.
2. -4 for Lindelhof -> Stones
And the answer is yes in both cases, they should immediately pay back the hit this week and both have better prospects going forward
Evening all,
I’m considering going Dallas, Kane and Watkins to Cancelo, Vardy and Antonio.
Now, the Watkins to Antonio move is a bit of a luxury transfer but who knows which Villa players have Covid and Tony seems a nice punt now that he hasn’t got any competition – only worry is, if he can last 2 games without his legs crumbling to dust!
Thoughts?
I guess you are not planning on playing any chips? I think I’d do Watkins&Dallas to Antonio&Cancelo if you can afford it. If not, I guess it depends on how many FTs you have.
I couldn’t afford that. I have 1ft. So it would be a -8
I think all 3 are good moves and any one of them could pay back the -8 alone.
Problem is going forward you will have 3 x WHM and 3 x MCI ( I will have the same). Great fixtures 20-25 but committing 3 from the same team has been proved to be risky this year.
Evening all. Used the free hit chip and ended up on 62. I have 1 free transfer and 1.1 in the bank. I dont have city coverage and am worried about KDB hauling. Thoughts welcome gang!
Kane/Son to Antonio/KDB seems to be a popular choice.
Thanks Otieno. Not 100 on Antonio just yet. Wqs also thinking Anguissa and Son to Rashford and Soucek for a minus 4. What do you think?
Not only did I not qualify for the Cup in the game but just realised that I didn’t qualify for the Regulars Cup either.
I really have had a disappointing season so far.
:biggun: :dash: :help: :butcher: :slaphead: :suicide:

You were flying at the start of December! What went wrong?
For one of the December game weeks, I ended up with only 5 players with no shows and cancelled games.
Jamie
0FT 1.7m
I am considering a hit for Taylor – Zouma, stones or wan bissaka or similar.
Good move or stick?
Thanks
Not worth a hit imho. He’ll be back soon.
Thanks just thinking with the DGW I’ll get two games for the hit
But you’ll have to take out Dallas, so only one game extra.
