Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18.

Remember back when a midweek fixture was an exciting rarity? It is hardly an uncommon occurrence these days and one to which we shall be treated to quite a few more times before the season is up. There are in fact three of these in the next five GW’s and even one of those (DGW19) straddles a midweek.

As for this one it begins on Tuesday at 6pm as Sheffield and Newcaste unite to see who can score the least goals. Then at 8.15pm Burnley host half the games captain in the shape of Bruno. At the same time Wolves welcome Everton.

Wednesday begins at 6pm with the other halves captain (KdB) hosting Brighton. Spurs (now) welcome a reluctant Fulham at 8.15pm.

Arsenal and Palace see us out on Thursday at 8pm.

And don’t forget that once the above GW ends on Thursday evening the next one begins on Saturday and that one is a double so get your planning sorted early doors!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 18 from all at FF247!

    Hi all,

Already brought in Coufal for this week in place of Lamptey. Is bringing in Pulisic/Ziyech & Stones /Dias for Son & Walker-Peters worth a -8?

Anyone else I should be considering in those 2 spots? Replacing them would give me 14.2 to play with

    Cheers

Is a -12 mental to bench boost?

I like the team but wouldn’t -12 make BB a bit pointless ?

      Smash
      Not worth it
I’d only BB if my full bench were playing twice.
      Save it
Use later when next DGW appears
      Not convinced on Antonio either

Smash, you survived the BGW 18 without using the FH and did considerably well. No point wasting now 12 points. There will be better times for BB.

Not worth it. Your bench may only score 12 points. Best to wait I think.

The way I’d look at that would be that if Johnstone and Antonio only get 2pts a game it would still pay for your hits as the 2 you’re swapping for aren’t likely playing! ….reward over risk …I’d do both of those!
Dawson for Kilman is a bit pointless as I think either may not play.
Son to Salah sounds like a slight upgrade whether dgw or not so with Salah playing twice and looking for a comeback it could well pay off
If you think Dawson will definitely play I’d say go for it and BB ….otherwise Coadys nailed with a good fixture or shaw with a double
Ps ….I may even take more hits than you’re planning to bb this week 😯

    Hello guys

Lots of teams with Antonia in them.
    Am I missing something?
    Good player
Plays twice , easy games on paper.
    Only striker West Ham got
    I get it…
    But
    Surely he’s not match fit?
89 mins in the last 11 games…3 goals all season?
    I’m not buying it

Would go for Bruno but for the YC tally. Neither Salah or KDB excites me…so frustrating choosing a captain

Hope everyone is doing well! Is -8 justified to bring in kdb and Antonio and either take out Robo or Firmino ? Or shall I just get in kdb for son and dcl for a cheaper forward and roll the money over for future ?
