Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. WAKEY, WAKEY! Christmas is over. It’s FPL time again! You’ve had your day off and as much as we hope you enjoyed your turkey and wine it’s business time again. We’ve even posted this an hour earlier than normal as a big fat warning that GW19 starts today at 11.30am.

It’s a whirlwind GW this one as we start today with no less than 9 games on Wednesday and finish tomorrow with just the one outlier. We then get Friday off before we begin again on Saturday. Fulham and Wolves open Boxing Day for us at 12.30pm before we see 12 teams contest 6 games at 3pm and there are some big hitters featured in there with Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all in action. Man United play too.

Brighton and Arsenal play at tea-time at 5.15pm before Watford host Chelsea in the evening game at 7.30pm.

Saints vs West Ham finishes us off on Thursday at 7.45pm.

The games in full…

Stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins in this hectic festive period, the remaining deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –

  1. It’s weird to watch this rare TNF match. Not only does the day feel rather odd, but so does owning Anderson for GW19 whilst being on an active Wildcard, one which doesn’t — and almost certainly won’t — feature him.

He’s playing pretty poorly; I keep oscillating between ‘Anderson, c’mon, whip us a proper cross in…’ and then ‘thanks for making my decision easier!’ every now and again.

It’d be hard to keep him in when I’m cramming Eden into the fold: a hench quartet of Hazard, Salah, Kane and Auba.

  2. Well this is almost exactly the opposite of what I wanted tonight

    • Same EBC! I could have probably took the 1-1 and scrapped through in the cup and a h2h game but the second goal has killed me!

  3. Hmm. 96 points. Just one more goal Felipe andere the 100 border has been breached.

  4. Site team tonight?

  5. Rejigged my WC team, how am I looking?

    • Similar squad to mine so hopefully good lol smile

      Couple of thoughts:

Button (or Steele) has a chance of playing when Ryan is away for Asian cup so may be better than Stekelenberg. If you’re not bothered about that you might as well save 0.1 and get Speroni.

Lovren looks a bargain but has 2 tough fixtures then faces competition from Gomez who is due back soon. I’d either go for Holebas short term or find extra cash for TAA (Maybe Peltier in for Bedna).

Ings has been in most of my drafts but another early aub tonight and some tough fixtures has led to the axe. Unfortunately there isn’t much else in that price range.

Like the Anderson pick. I feel I my regret not picking him but don’t know who I’d drop.

  6. Wildcard draft 75. What do you think?

TAA on my watchlist to come in GW22/23.

Is there a better option than Deeney? Ings fixtures & gametime bothering me.

    • I’d stick T.a.a straight in and save yourself a transfer ! Switch Pelitier to Bednarek.

      • TAA was in my non-Salah draft (instead of Pelt) but in the short term do you not think Luiz (Palace, Southampton, Newcastle) will outscore TAA (Arsenal, Man City, Brighton)?

        • Liverpool best defence in the league, can keep a clean sheet against anybody,as shown against City earlier in the season plus goal and assist Potential and like i say saves you wasting a transfer.

      • Could go Peltier to TAA & downgrade Rich to Snodgrass?

        • I’d keep Rich and Stick Anderson in there for Peryra

        • Anderson is 1.1 more expensive so would have to make a few changes to fund unfortunately.

    • I’d go TAA instead Trippier n even Chambers instead Peltier and upgrade Deeney to Mitro/Jimenez
