Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. WAKEY, WAKEY! Christmas is over. It’s FPL time again! You’ve had your day off and as much as we hope you enjoyed your turkey and wine it’s business time again. We’ve even posted this an hour earlier than normal as a big fat warning that GW19 starts today at 11.30am.

It’s a whirlwind GW this one as we start today with no less than 9 games on Wednesday and finish tomorrow with just the one outlier. We then get Friday off before we begin again on Saturday. Fulham and Wolves open Boxing Day for us at 12.30pm before we see 12 teams contest 6 games at 3pm and there are some big hitters featured in there with Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all in action. Man United play too.

Brighton and Arsenal play at tea-time at 5.15pm before Watford host Chelsea in the evening game at 7.30pm.

Saints vs West Ham finishes us off on Thursday at 7.45pm.

The games in full…

Stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins in this hectic festive period, the remaining deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –

GW20 Saturday 29th December 3PM

Woop for Anderson! He’s saved my GW – going to finish on 57 pts.

I’m doing Azpi -> Holebas, Sterling -> Salah (I sold him yonks ago but want him back!) and Firmino -> Vardy. For an 8ph. Boom. It’ll leave me with no CHE and no attacking MCI coverage however! Feeling bold!!

I would probably hold n 2 transfers would give you more flexibility after next gw your defence would be the area I would possible fix wolves n palace not easiest fixtures

Very similar scores for us this GW, mate, and how remarkable that you had 3 braces in your midfield alone. Sterling being the blanker! Well played.

I missed out on Salah’s big hauls for 3 painful GWs, but I can tell you, getting him back made me quickly forget all of that. Arsenal (H) up next? I’d recommend that you do the same now.

Sterling —> Salah and Alonso —> Digne (or similar) seems about right.

I’ll confess, though, that losing either of those two could backfire from GW to GW and Alonso still has particularly good fixtures.

Cheers, might be worth saving and doing those moves next week. I wish I had gone with Digne over Keane, Keane has only managed one clean sheet.

        • jamesimmo says:

I agree, in fairness, as having Sterling for Southampton (A) and saving yourself a 4-point hit may well serve you better this weekend.

By the way, as for your draft request, I’ve got a friend (mini-league rival) or two who snoop around on here these days, meaning that I’d rather keep it quiet, sorry. Do you lean towards one pair based solely on the below information?

Doing Sane to Haz, to fund it i need a 2nd transfer. Would you do Luiz to Shaw/Digne/Holebas or Martial to a 6.5 mid, possibly Fraser ?

    jamesimmo says:

I’ve had my heart set on Pereyra filling what will be my 3rd slot in this WC midfield, but my defence looks very flaky, with a(n un)healthy scattering of 4.2m defenders in there. Which combination seems preferable:

Pereyra + Saïss or Deulofeu + Lovren?

I’ve got Robertson already. That, as well as Lovren only being a short-term option with relatively poor short-term fixtures, makes this harder.

    Hello guys;
My team – 1FT and zero ITB
    Patricio (Hamer)
Alonso; Robertson; Lovren; Wan B (Yedlin)
    Richarlison; Hazard; Salah; (Fraser; Hojbjerg)
    Rashford; Jimenez; Kane

    a) Fraser to Snodgrass or
    b) Alonso to Digne and Fraser to either Martial or F. Anderson for a 4ph

I’m thinking (a) looks the best bet, but maybe you have other suggestion(s).

    Hello guys, advice needed.
Sane has played 90 mins last 2 games so worried about his play in next.
Should I do Sane to Son.
    1 ft 0.2 it.
