Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Some games may occur, don’t ask us which…
We’ve written and re-written this about four times now this week. Which, quite frankly, is about three times more than we wanted to. We think that the following is about to happen. But in all honesty if it doesn’t, or if it changes again, please feel free to make up your own narrative and pretend that’s what we bothered to write instead because there will be no 5th!
We won’t list the lot (a picture is worth a 1000 words etc) but in short we begin with Wolves vs West Brom at Saturday lunchtime, and then we have 4 more games later on that day, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday and we eventually conclude a truly long double game-week, over 7 days after it began, on the following Saturday evening at 8pm with Aston Villa v Newcastle. If Villa can be bothered to turn up. 15 or so games in total which means that 11 teams get to play twice. In theory.
Here is the GW in all its glory;
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

What (if anything) are you guys going to do with Salah? Getting tired of waiting for his haul.
Maybe swap to Rashford?
I assume you have kdb and Bruno already? Or maybe son?
Yea hes very out of form. But he could have double digit game at any stage. I game up waiting for kdb
Yep, have KDB, and Bruno. Rash has some good games coming up, and Son is a possibility.
I am holding him myself.
Let’s see how he goes on Thursday. Fourth blank in a row will be too much for that price. Possibly bring back Son.
My thinking too. No use being stubborn and holding on forever.
I get it you are tired of Salah. But Rashford has not exactly done any better. He has one recent return but if you go last 5 he’s worse
If I get rid of him – and I’m in no major hurry – I may go cheap in order to upgrade my forward line a bit. So it may be Salah to Kane via some research I haven’t got round to yet.
I’d like to have Rashford in my side at some point this season as he’s acting as the main opposition to HMG at the moment. And that deserves a spot in my side.
if he blanks again against burnley, will have to seriously consider getting rid of him, I don’t know if it’s just him specifically or the whole liverpool attack has gone null though
I think it’s more to do with the who Liverpool team than Salah specifically but yeah they are really struggling to create at the moment.
Views on Michail Antonio please, I am thinking of dropping Lacca for him.
Sounds a good move. The fixtures are OK all the way up to mid February apart from pool in the middle but they concede too.
Wait and see how he copes with the next game, that said he received praise after his performance against Burnley
arsenal fixtures will get a bit harder now, and if aubameyang starts firing he will be the main threat in attack, so laca to antonio seems a good move. but will have to wait to see if he starts again the next game to see how hit fitness is to play so many games in quick succession
Getting points from Wilson always feels like a fluke. You never feel like he’s actually gonna get any. Think I need to get rid!
I only held for the double. Not may better at that price though
No, it’s best not to be under too many illusions. He’s not playing for one of the league’s in form sides. In fact his side is rapidly spinning in a death dive.
His price helps enable other things. And he has another go later this GW. Maybe the spin will be corrected for a brief moment before everyone tumbles out, praying the parachutes work.
Antonio springs to mind but let’s see how the rest of the GW goes.
Yes bags of time left this GW. We are in fact at half-time now.
Probably a good way to describe it. I think a lot of his points have been lucky this season. He rarely gets any chances
Bench
Don’t worry, you have John Stones! :biggun: :biggun:
I do :hippo: . Just regret playing Raphinia
Smash, you are on 76 points.
Can’t have them all :laugh2:
True I was just short on a bench boost this week
Same bench + Bamford as I have. Wish I could have played an 8-1-1 formation this week
Had we BB we probably wouldn’t have had Arsenal players in our teams as they don’t have a DGW…
It’s one to forget about with a shrug.
I’ll get over it. The promise of using my bench boost on a future huge DGW is far more enticing than me frittering it away on an Arsenal clean sheet
I’ll be ok too – hopefully the pain inside will recede after a couple of seasons.
It’s one of those hindsight things. I’ve Saka staring reproachfully at me, first on the bench. But I was never going to play him ahead of a DGWeeker.
I wanted to play it tbh. But was short as have Forster and Kilman. I’ve got close to a decent squad now and have cash to do that now
The weekly top scorer is playing the BB and have 32 points on his bench so far with 3 still to play. Good timing.
Lol
That’s on me, though, I just waited until the very last sec to make changes and didn’t make it in time to swap Adams to Holding.
I had Holding over Raphinia all week but then his small chance of a double swayed it
Because we are bloody greedy, Smash :laugh2:
The Magpies with an attacking side showing great form and improving their total shot count, Bruce ball 2.0 here we go!
:hippo:
I’ve an uneasy feeling ‘Mad’ Mick McCarthy may be the man called upon to sort the shit out.
And if so the above stats will serve to recall a halcyon age.
Where’s Pardew when you need him?!
Chillin’ in Bulgaria in his new role as a technical director :laugh2:
I miss this though

Gif fail but you know what I meant :laugh2:
Probably his proudest moment….
Ah Cookster- just one of the many stars vying to line up to have their photos taken with your good self!
This Emile Smith Rowe is looking like a tasty asset. Much better than my Bissouma.
Looks a good player as well. I don’t see him losing his place any time soon
I may miss Bissouma. He is such a consistent bench player that gets 1-2 points.
