Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Some games may occur, don’t ask us which…
We’ve written and re-written this about four times now this week. Which, quite frankly, is about three times more than we wanted to. We think that the following is about to happen. But in all honesty if it doesn’t, or if it changes again, please feel free to make up your own narrative and pretend that’s what we bothered to write instead because there will be no 5th!
We won’t list the lot (a picture is worth a 1000 words etc) but in short we begin with Wolves vs West Brom at Saturday lunchtime, and then we have 4 more games later on that day, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday and we eventually conclude a truly long double game-week, over 7 days after it began, on the following Saturday evening at 8pm with Aston Villa v Newcastle. If Villa can be bothered to turn up. 15 or so games in total which means that 11 teams get to play twice. In theory.
Here is the GW in all its glory;

Ok Salah and Firmino on. Let’s see some action
Oh dear…times are crazy!
You win some, you lose some. Well played Burnley.
Liverpool have been weirdly off-colour since the Palace game. Like some sort of languour has settled over them. Oh well.
They have to be tired. Way too many games…especially some of the cup ones.
I was consoling OddDane the other night, who was sobbing into his Tuborg after the defeat at Southampton. Nights like these hurt a lot more before the title was finally regained. Now it just seems a blip – then it was just a permanent headache.
Tired? Most of them just had 12 days off I think. Their schedule over Christmas was kinder than most teams. Lost the wining mentality after winning the league and winding down for me. Just lots of players out of form at a similar time it happens. Motivation after winning the league might not be there but I don’t buy tired
The league is pretty interesting. Personally I think City will win but who knows, maybe missing KdB will slow them down (unlikely though given the fixtures).
That’s if KdB is a gonner.
It’s not the physical tiredness of working for 3 hours a week instead of 90 mins. It’s all the mental stress of how to spend £30k
Almost perfect prediction.
Got it wrong with KDB though, couldn’t foresee that Kane would outscore Bruno, Salah and KDB.
Is KDB to Kane the obvious this gw do you think Ivan?
What do you think of Salah to Son and KDB to Rashford (vs SHU)?
It might sound as a surprise and a shock to Smash but I am planning to keep Salah. He will explode back with a brace or hatty soon and it will be a havoc bringing him back.
KDB to Son will be my move most likely and a hit to sort out the Zouma situation.
No faith in Sterling?
There are not many alternatives are there Ivan tbf
No Bees, he has his glory moments now and again but….
Mahrez, Gundo and Bilva are more steady options and allow you to have a bit of dosh for elsewhere.
If Liverpool have any hope, Salah will be to the forefront of it. I prefer Kane over Son (indirect I know)
Kane is in my team for ages but lost Son because of KBD.
Now, I need him back as they compliment each other perfectly.
Of course it wasn’t even Wood to gain from the penalty… Well, at least I might do well in the anti-fpl leagues. ‘night chaps
Bad luck but the next GW will be upon us soon enough.
Why didn’t Alisson get a card ?
I hope you’re not implying we’ve got another Yaya Toure situation brewing.
Hahahaha. I logged in just to say thanks for that. Ahhhh, cakegate, simpler times…
It was a signal sent out to lure you back into the fold.
Expect the unexpected.
Burnley are the first team to beat Liverpool at Ahfield since April 2017
