Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19

Some games may occur, don’t ask us which…

We’ve written and re-written this about four times now this week. Which, quite frankly, is about three times more than we wanted to. We think that the following is about to happen. But in all honesty if it doesn’t, or if it changes again, please feel free to make up your own narrative and pretend that’s what we bothered to write instead because there will be no 5th!

We won’t list the lot (a picture is worth a 1000 words etc) but in short we begin with Wolves vs West Brom at Saturday lunchtime, and then we have 4 more games later on that day, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday and we eventually conclude a truly long double game-week, over 7 days after it began, on the following Saturday evening at 8pm with Aston Villa v Newcastle. If Villa can be bothered to turn up. 15 or so games in total which means that 11 teams get to play twice. In theory.

Here is the GW in all its glory;

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 19 from all at FF247!

Sterling and abu are both good calls. Arsenal seem to be on a good run now and abu is only in 7.1% of teams. Lots of the ghost teams too.

Hmm. That’s thrown my plans out the window. I have £4.1 itv so can buy any replacement for Vardy of KDB but who?

Who takes pens for LEI now that Vardy is out for a while?

What you guys prefer Antonio or Kane to replace Vardy?

Hey there GP, how are things up there (windy & rainy doon here too!)?
Just at my desk, sort of half working, half checking out football stuff (whilst listening to the ‘Fitba Pod’ – they’re so funny and don’t take life too seriously – and quite informative about the FFS!) and wonderin’ what to do about Wee Kevin myself now. Had planned just to get Gundo and maybe Stonesie this week (for Zoom-zoom & KDB, thus being a ‘false -4 hit), and maybe getting in Son the week after for someone like Raphinha (as Spurs have Pool + Leeds have Newcastle this weekend, so next GW seems a ripe time to do that move).
Oh bollox GP, I just realized I was rambling on selfishly about moves I will not make until after the FA cup fixtures (the Sweet FA Cup? smile – hope you don’t mind!

Anyway – see you round matie! Hope all is well. If you need any consolation for mediocre DGW results, don’t hesitate to click on the link to my team! Should cheer you up – as my results are neither here nor there, but have seemed to have limited the damage which I planned to do.
Have a good one! smile AJW

Oh I forgot, it’s nearly Burns’ Night (the 25th I think?) – which is followed on the 26th by Australia Day (or Invasion Day, which I think is a much better appellation, being in total agreement with Indigenous Australians on that one! You guys might call it ‘The Day the Sassenachs Came’!).
End of blah blah – I’ll get back to my ‘work’!

Thanks! But if you’re mediocre then that scares me as to what I am this season!

Burns Night is Monday and I’ll be having my supper and a nip of Glenlivet.

I haven’t listened to that podcast at all. Might grab the latest one. Cheers.
