Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

  1. Evening everyone. Worth doing King and Stephens to Wally and Kamara to shift from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2? Would use both 2 FTs I have.

    • Not sure about Wally & Richarlison.

      • Yeah, fair point!

        • Risky, but for 6.5 I’d be tempted to punt on Pedro. He’s looking good and I’ve a funny feeling he’s ahead of Willian.

        • That is tempting, but Fabregas is due to return soon and then there’s the starting of Hazard too. Watford’s Pereyra could be tempting too but, either way, I think I’ll wait until tomorrow before I make the moves.

  2. Pedro or Micky for Jota?

  3. Hi guys. On 16 so far and not happy! Anyhoo, this is me with 2 fts and 0.5 in the bank. Suggestions please good people. I want cairney our and possibly Eriksen ..

    • Here’s the team

      • There it is.
I would say Cairney to Mikhy and Erik to Fraser.
Leaving you cash to save? Or Erik to Bilva

        • Cheers Madhatter. Looking at all possibilities. Thanks for those

    • Need to see your team mate

    • Eriksen to a City mid. Or Mkhi. B Silva and Mkhi may be affordable.

Monitor how City get on tomorrow.

16’s fine given the firepower you’re unleashing. Last week was a slow start then it got fun.

    • Eriksen & Cairney to either Mahrez & Fraser or B.Silva & Pedro?

      • Don’t we think Pedro loses his spot when Haz and Willian are fully fit?

        • When they needed a goal today it was Willian who made way for Hazard, not Pedro. Who knows what Sarri is thinking, but I’ve a funny feeling Pedro is ahead.

      • Hey Banjo. Thought of Pedro but worried about game time. Do you think Marhez may be ok for minutes?

  4. I need some help here please. Have .5mib and 2FT.
I prefer not to take hits but may have to. Want to bring in Richarlison for McArthur. Will have to sell King or Auba (shame since ARS easier games start).
If McArthur sold, can only afford Joselu…

Or if I take a hit I can swap King for Wilson, McArthur for Richarlison and D.Luiz for Cook.
What do you think? Can you see any better option?
    Thanks!

    • It’s a bit premature, Bees.

This time tomorrow we could all be hot about Löwe, Mooy and Mounie.

However your midfield is very weak and you’ll need to sacrifice Auba or Kun to tidy that up. I can’t see any other way. You need some structual adjustment. Getting rid of either is painful but maybe Auba to whoever and get Mkhi into the midfield (or Richarlison).

      • I agree. Thanks. Will wait till after all the games as prices have already gone up.
Team is a bit of a mess. Will take some time to sort out.

  5. Guys I’m thinking of doing erik and neves to bsilva and richarlison, any thoughts?

  6. Friends … any thoughts? 1 FT and 0.5 ITB

    • Eriksen and Jota/Schurrle Mkhi and B Silva might work.
