Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
If you made it from GW1 to GW2 then that probably either means you scored well in GW1 and are still full of beans having done so or that you are simply a proper FPL player and know that you will make it to GW38 regardless. Either way GW2 is upon us so let’s go see how the weekend pans out…
Arsenal’s reserve team got off to a good start with 3 points away at Newcastle and they clash in the days early game with a bouyant Burnley side who beat Southampton 3-0 in their own first game.
3pm sees us with five games but with the exception of Liverpool it’s a list of the ‘also-rans’ again. There’s definitely a pattern developing here… Villa host Bournemouth with both looking for their first win, Everton host Watford with both looking for their first win, Norwich host Newcastle with both looking for their first win, Brighton host West Ham with both looking for their first win, (oh hang on, Brighton won?!) West ham looking for their first win. Southampton host Liverpool and of course the hosts are looking for their first win. They’ll still be looking next week too.
The evening game is argueably the first big clash of the titans this season as Man City host Spurs.
Sunday sees Sheffield United and Palace get us going at 2pm, with both teams looking for their first win. That is followed at 4.30pm by Chelsea and Leicester, with… yeah, you guessed it, both teams looking for their first win!
We go to Monday this time too as Wolves host Man United in a mouth watering clash.

Barkley > Mount for a FT?
Not been watching Terminator. Goal was more workmanlike than inspiring.
He should have scored two or three so far. He’s better than Barkley but they will rotate all season
Doubt he rotates much on current form, Smash?

Hi folks. I can see that the issue that I’ve had plaguing me since early this morning has been discussed many times already – i.e. Exchanging with our 2FTs (craftily saved up, unlike previous years!
) someone like Wilson (Callum) & Barkley or Perez (een tho’ match is still in full swing!!!)
for:
a) Martial + Pukki (or Barnesie)
b) Ceballos/McGinn + Rashford
It’s too early to tell (as You ‘n I Ted, haven’t played yet), but I will probably opt for the 2nd one. Having Rashers & Harry K up front is like a dream – something from an old ‘Boys’ Own’ Album from the ’60s! What’s more, I would like to put myself in danger regarding price increases – so I’ll wait till popular picks like Ceb, Pukk & Rashers rise a bit more in price, to make these transfers seem more exciting!
(Yeah, okay – even my own old man told me I was as mad as a bloody meat axe! Don’t need to be told again!
)

It’s not would have to add Ceballos in for Perez as well but that’s what I’m considering

I had originally planned on moving down a pool defender as getting Kane but Fraser and Perez are getting nothing.
Might even have to do them tonight looking at the price changes

I’m thinking what you’re thinking as well, need to take a hit for Pukki and KDB and I reckon Perez needs to go, he wasn’t that involved, Vardy/Maddison have a great connection, but Perez was looking like he still needs to gel a bit more with his new teammates, he’s not quite on it yet me thinks, so think I prefer Perez to Ceballos instead of losing any of the defenders… But do we think Digne is good to go next week, would be annoying to take a hit now and then see Digne ruled out in Friday’s presser…
Oh by the way, how’s the cricket going? I see we have a pretty big chase, but not that much time left – damned draw coming up!
They should go into extra time & have penalty lobs at specified batsmen! A bit of showmanship!

But you might be right in that sense of the word ‘wicket Raz, I don’t know. In cricket terms, it represents a person batting, and the wooden stumps behind them, which when hit, mean the batsperson can no longer participate. It’s quite a weird concept to explain to people in fact. See you round! AJW

) should try a bit of 20/20 play in the final stages of this test, just to see if you can take some ‘wickets’ (or Wickets’ wickets 
) in spectacular style – thus destabilizing the antipodean larrikins for the 3rd test. I refer you to my comments on my own illustrious cricketing career in an entry around GW 37 or 38 last season! About as far from Bradman that you can get! 
Barkley not coming on today as Lamps has already used his 3 subs.
So taking out Barkley and Zischenko for Lundstram and Martial already paid off. Hehe.
