Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. We hope that you are showing signs of life again after a few hectic days of festivities. GW19 came and went with haste and we’ve even had a day off to take stock and consider our transfers. It’s a lazy approach into GW20 too with a late 2pm deadline, the only downside being that it is on a Saturday so your pesky ML rivals may actually remember to check their teams this week.

Much like its predecessor this one is squeezed into two days and we begin with five 3pm games but outside of Spurs featuring, and perhaps Richarlison, and maybe the odd budget defender, there may be sporadic fantasy interest, certainly from any big hitters anyway. There should be more in the early evening game as Liverpool host Arsenal at 5.30pm.

Sunday sees Chelsea visit Palace for starters at 12pm, Burnley vs West Ham and Saints vs Man City provide the mains at 2.15pm before the dessert at 4.15pm in the shape of Man United vs Bournemouth.

The games in full…

Stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins in this hectic festive period, the one remaining deadline is as follows (all times are GMT) –

GW21 Tuesday 1st January 11.30AM

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 20 from all at FF247!

Thanks for reading Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20.

  1. Happy New Year Guys

Can someone please confirm the statement below?
The first needs to be used anytime before 29th December 14:00

    • Yes, if not used it has expired. The new WC is available.

      • Damnnnn I wish I knew that.. I would have fixed my team a bit, plus I took a hit last game week to bring in Pogba and Son..

        • That’s pity mate. I hope you get the best out of Son as he will be leaving to Asia Cup after two games.

  2. hey all..1ft and 0.6 itb. should i do anderson to pogba and bellerin to digne for a hit?

    • i can also do rashford to jimenez/wilson and anderson to pogba if the above is not ok

    • I wouldn’t be selling Anderson mate.

  3. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a player being bought in at such a rate!!

    • Rosco, I am not surprised. With the demand for Salah and now Pogba I would imagine many wild cards are already active.

      • Yeah it’s times like this that give us more seasoned / rational players the upper hand later in the season!

        • Yeah that and the constant transfers of premium players in and out for hits

    • Sane drop rate is pretty crazy as well

      • Richarlison too! Basically any players within reach of Pogba are feeling the force of the market!

      • Good thing is, after tonight Sterling will be cheaper than I sold him for and Sane just 0.1 more so I won’t be hurt when I inevitably want either back!

        • Yeah I think I’m planning on buying Ings and Sane next week for Jimenez and Martial to get some City cover.

    • @rosco – fpl stats show rashford is due a rise tomorrow. with him picking up a groin injury, do u see his price not going up tomorrow with the possiblity of him being transferred out later this evening?

      • He may still rise, a lot of people will have brought him in during or just after the match and will have switched off now ( amazing to think people like that are out there!! Haha )

    • Only to fail miserably the next gw, of course.

  4. What do you think of Richie and Robertson to Pogba and TAA? Don’t really want to get get rid of Richie I would rather it be Fraser but can’t see a way xx

    • Robertson to TAA is sideways and Richarlison can certainly put up some numbers this week Joanne.. I think everybody panic buying Pogba should take a deep breath. If I were you I think I’d downgrade Fraser to Brooks or Fabianski to Etheridge and see what happens next week. I realize that’s hard but patience pays dividends over the long run. (full disclosure, I captained Pogba this week.. and may do so on Tuesday as well)

      • just to clarify.. I don’t think I’d do Fab to Etheridge this week.. but doesn’t look a bad idea in the future.

      • Thank you x

    • I’d do it.Double digit scores 3 weeks on the bounce. The guy is on fire and out to prove a point.Got to get on that train before its out of sight !

  5. Damn!! -8 PH on the card…don’t like it at all, but can’t afford later.
With Lukaku on pitch – does the appeal of Pogba to reduce a bit (from goal scoring point of view, assist is okay)?
Rashford (yellow flagged – why?) will move to wing probably.

  6. Anyone planning to sell Kane? He is returning 1 goal consistently – but so do others.

    • 4 goals in his last 3 game’s?, joint prem top scorer

    • I am, but now with Rash out, maybe not.

      • Alonso out
        Doherty in
        Lacazette out
        Aubamyang in
        That a good move?

    • He’s alright currently with those fixtures.

    • I won’t be selling Kane in a hurry, unless I can manage some sleight of hand to remove him and bring in a Spurs’ mid, or another hot mid, in the same week. In the main Kane is nailed, and is doing enough, which is why I’m holding off a Kun swap for now.

I know there’s an argument that if you can’t make him your captain then why bother, but I’m not bothered. Though I have him as captain for this coming week.
