Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. We hope that you are showing signs of life again after a few hectic days of festivities. GW19 came and went with haste and we’ve even had a day off to take stock and consider our transfers. It’s a lazy approach into GW20 too with a late 2pm deadline, the only downside being that it is on a Saturday so your pesky ML rivals may actually remember to check their teams this week.

Much like its predecessor this one is squeezed into two days and we begin with five 3pm games but outside of Spurs featuring, and perhaps Richarlison, and maybe the odd budget defender, there may be sporadic fantasy interest, certainly from any big hitters anyway. There should be more in the early evening game as Liverpool host Arsenal at 5.30pm.

Sunday sees Chelsea visit Palace for starters at 12pm, Burnley vs West Ham and Saints vs Man City provide the mains at 2.15pm before the dessert at 4.15pm in the shape of Man United vs Bournemouth.

The games in full…

Stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins in this hectic festive period, the one remaining deadline is as follows (all times are GMT) –

GW21 Tuesday 1st January 11.30AM

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 20 from all at FF247!

Thanks for reading Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20.

    Hi;
With the Pogba bandwagon madness, I am considering
    Hazard and Richalison OUT
    Pogba and Son IN

    Is this really an improvement?

    Thanks

    FF247 crew,

I’m in a bit of a pickle! Rapidly losing the gap as leader of my mini league without Salah and Pogba. And to add more misery I now seem to be without a starting keeper and Højbjerg suspended until 30 Jan.

I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold on to the top spot much longer without a shuffle around.

    Alonso, Martial, Anderson and Kane/Auba

    to

Digne, Pogba, Salah and Jiminez is do-able ( a whopping -12) but doesn’t address the keeper issue…

I could start off with Anderson and Kane to Salah and Jiminez? (Or to keep Kane swap out Auba and Alonso too)

What are your thoughts? 1 FT and 0.5m.

    Am I crazy?

      Kralin says:

We’re all crazy beno. Sort out the goalie situation and take a deep breath. You’ll be fine. Get the Pog after Spurs.

      Rosco says:

      ok, first of all chill!

You’re point chasing and whilst some of the players you mention will be good to have, you don’t need them this week and certainly not for a -12.

      Let’s look at things more objectively;

Keeper – you need one as s priority, this should be your FT

Salah – you need to drop a premium forward to facilitate, but this week both have a better fixture than Salah – hold on this

Pogba – you need to decide which of your mids you lose for him. Personally I wouldn’t ditch any this week.

So why not sort your keeper this week then look at your options for the others next week?

      • beno1234 says:

        Cheers fellas.

I’m definitely point chasing it’s just hard when everyone’s catching me!

Thoughts on a Hart replacement? Presuming Heaton will be no.1 from now on…

        • Kralin says:

Yes you could stick with Burnley, whose immediate fixtures are ok. Otherwise Foster perhaps; Fab’s always good for a save or two, not so much CS; Patricio. All much of a relative muchness.

      DMC says:

Beno – what Rosco and Kralin said really. Just log off mate. If you do a -12 you are just helping “them”. Let they do the tricks… and fail miserably. Leagues are won in May, not in January. Play the long game and you’ve got this.

    Bongo says:

    Hi all,
So it seems Pogba is a must have at the moment which is a shame as I was hoping to save my transfer this week but instead I’m thinking of taking a hit…
I’m thinking oh Alonso and Anderson out for David Luiz and Pogba, is it worth a hit as I have the exact money now and Pogba is rising big time…
    Cheers for any advice

Your side is pretty well set up for the next (looming) GW so I’m not sure. In theory Anderson should cover the Pog, especially as the latter has Spurs on the horizon. I’d be inclined to see how Rashford is first as that may be the main fire you need to put out.

      DMC says:

He is no must have atm Bongo. He’s a great player, playing for an average team, with a new manager and with a point to prove. He’s done that (in brilliant fation). Over xmas. At home.

The next two gws will tell us if he is worth the trouble.

    hammers says:

    Hey all

Like many im trying to get pogba in.

Would you do a straight swap for Son or do robbo and richarlison for TAA and pogba for a -4?

    Cheers

      Rosco says:

If you had to do one it would be the Son move ( given that you only have 2 more games with him anyway) but in all honestly I’d probably do neither this week and maybe make the switch next GW

    • 155.2
      Kralin says:

Son v Cardiff then at home to Man U or the Pog away at Newcastle then away to Spurs.

Think I’d just slot in the Pog for Son after the latter’s jetted off.
