Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20
Two days without any football?! It almost feels like we are stuck in some sort of Christmas version of Groundhog Day at the moment. If you missed it then worry not as between GW20 beginning and GW23 ending we now have just 14 days with games on 11 of those and no more than a day to separate any given Gameweek. That’s the theory anyway, whether Covid (or Aston Vila) say otherwise is a different matter.
GW20 itself begins on Tuesday with a 6pm double header as Palace welcome West Ham for a good old fashioned London derby and at the same time Steve Bruce will probably continue to lose his marbles at the hands of the slightly more wily Marcelo Bielsa. Arsenal’s (latest) renaissance will be severely tested by the Saints at 8.15pm, whilst at the same time Big Sam will be looking forward to seeing if Man City can do it on a cold Tuesday night at … they will!
Wednesday begins at 6pm with a duet of mid-table clashes which will be tightly contested but ultimately mean nothing as Burnley host Villa and Wolves go to Chelsea. 7.30pm sees a relegation 6-pointer between Brighton and Fulham.
The title race continues at 8.15pm as the outsiders Everton & Leicester clash, before Manchester United easily see off Sheffield United.
GW20 concludes in some fashion, as Spurs face a true test of their title credentials against a recently inadequate Liverpool.
The games in full…

Everton v Leicester City
Excellent, hopefully another James masterclass to settle down to. Along with a Carlo tactical one given the change of formation and the absence of Siggy.
I bought DCL this week mate.
Hopefully he scores then, one of my favourite players to watch these days, more because of the progress he has made and I’ve it seen it evolve live in front of me over the past few years. I guess Spurs fans would say the same about Kane.
James Rodriguez masterclass for the 1st time in the league since September
I think you’re confusing ‘scoring a goal’ with ‘overall performance’. Has he been that dominant tonight? I don’t think so myself. Still making the team tick though.
I’m watching this apart from the goal not much after that,at least you can gloat being above Liverpool tonight, don’t see me doing this with Saka on here
Saka?!
Yeah, ok. If it’s simply stupid arguments you are after I can heartily recommend you go to:

Saka has had a decent season though no?, Can’t say it was a joy watching Everton tonight though wasted an hour and a half watching that
Manchester United v Sheffield United
Maybe the Man U side saw this slightly sinister image of Sheffield – deeply weird colour-scheme and subdued lighting and cruel replicated disfigurement – and it gave them the fear.
I saw an arrow towards Ramsdale’s side and expected a 7-0 hauling. Oh well. Atleast every man and his dog seems to the armband on Bruno.
Yes, an almost irrelevant fail, fantasy-wise.
I was pleased to see Wood score for you – about time. Burnley went completely mental by their standards. I have no memory of them ever scoring more than one goal.
Thanks. He’s second on my bench, Kralin. After Soucek :laugh2:
Ah, well, bad luck.
Burnley never scores and all of a sudden it’s goal fest at the turf moor… And now Wood too… I must’ve something bad this year… And the one before that! Hmm :scratch_one-s_head:
Anyone else feel a massive Bruno blank incoming ? :help:
Does it really matter
I know your point that if he fails we all do bad. But I still like seen my captain score a goal or 2
Ha ha I’m just not seen a someone captained by this many people. Struggling to find anyone that hasn’t captained him
I haven’t seen the stats this week. Tbh I’d be happy to see the game end like this
My mate is behind so is chasing differentials (feels a bit premature) and has captained Rashford. He also has Fernandes.
A couple in my ML captained Sterling
I can see a Blank for Bruno Fernandes tonight
Think I saw it’s 180% existing ownership or something crazy
I think so yeah, but for top 10k.
Overall still a whole damn lot it seems – https://www.premierleague.com/news/1982310?sf242356570=1
Goal by J-Rod! Surprised we haven’t seen Init gloat about it yet
I’m waiting for it ha
Why would I? Nothing to gloat about for me, not my style Odd. I’ll happily comment or report either way, good or bad, but gloating about something, especially something out of my control…
Not gloat then. Celebrate/Cheer/Etc. – Was just thinking about the positive comments you directed his way over the week in the FA and ahead of this game. Steady on.
It was an amazing goal though.
It was, no chance to save that! Masterclass! The first kick leading up to it was a bit odd though.
Is Kane going to be the highest scorer of the front eight once again :laugh2:
