Once bonus points and auto subs added should finish game week with 73 points.

    Green arrows all the way.

Think I’ll finish on 85 once Cantwell comes off the bench and Salah gets his BP.

    Decent few weeks.

    Help needed!
    2 FT, 0.0m ITB.
I reckon Spurs are spent, so Alli should be next out of the door. That also frees up useful cash, most of which I’m thinking of using to buy Maddison leaving 1.1m ITB.
But then what? I’m happy with my defence the way it is. And I see no reason to replace the strikers.
So: midfield and goalies. Wilson is obviously one to bin, but I reckon a higher priority is to use 0.5m to upgrade Sterling to either Mane or Salah ahead of their DGW. What next after that? Upgrade Wilson, or downgrade him and bring in a new goalie (Foster perhaps).
    Any advice, please?

37 pointer for me, what a shocker… Considering an early WC, how do you like this line up?

I wouldn’t WC right now, totally the wrong time.

To be honest OddDane your team doesn’t look that bad at all. I think a wildcard will be better used when all the DGWs are announced. What you could do now is sell Sterling and Hanley for Maddison and Robo. That will give you a decent side with triple scouse triple foxes KDB Rash Lundstrum and Jimmy with Cantwell as back up.
      No need to panic smile

      • OddDane says:

Thanks Horse, this of course is more sensible! Though will probably prefer do just Sterling for Mane.
This wc team was just my best attempt at a Mane+Salah+KdB mid :scratch_one-s_head:

        • Horse says:

I played my WC on Boxing Day. It depends on team value of course but I found it a struggle to get a good team with KDB Mane Salah in midfield and Vardy and TAA and ….. You get the idea.
But if I had the money I would love to have that midfield

        • Smash says:

I have TAA, Mane and Salah. If I was doing the wildcard again I think I’d have TAA, Robbo and Salah because of the better balance in midfield

Hey guys would like your early thoughts on my team. Had a decent GW, should end up with an even 60 thanks to Rico’s -1.
    2 FT and 1.2 itb.
Looking to change 3 players, including Gazza and Connoly. The 3rd should probably be a midfielder to make way for the funds.

I’d like to change my GK possibly to Ryan with an eye on his fixtures.
My other issue is to my 5th mid.
Grealish is in form and presents good value at that price if he comtinues, but dyu think Alli will have more of a role up front with Kane gone and hence see returns ?

Gazza Grealish and Connoly -> Ryan, Ings and a 5 mil midfielder (Dendo?) ?
    Or
Gazza Alli and Connoly -> Ryan, Rashford and a 5 mil midfielder

I could get any other keeper if anyone feels there are better options.

    Kindly advice.

      Kralin says:

Alli has a big question mark over him (for me). I have no idea at all where he’ll play / be deployed and am not certain if I want to hang around to find out. But I first plan to switch off from that sort of thing and enjoy the FA Cup weekend.

Regarding your side I’d have a think about the looming DGW and decide whether you want three Liverpool players or not – most will, I’d imagine, given Liverpool’s ongoing form. Your ‘better keeper’ may be Fab.

      • The Padster says:

I will definitely get rid of Alli next, I need cash to upgrade Tielemans to Maddison and Pope to Fabianski, already have Gomez, TAA and Mane for BGW24, but could still sacrife KdB to Salah instead of Gomez

      • AJW says:

Perhaps he’ll be playing in a totally different stadium to the rest of the Spurs players! Little Dele A feeling like a real PL hero, shooting in goals left, right and centre, wondering when his team-mates are going to come in to share the joy – then hearing the parents of his current opponents yelling out , ‘Come on kids, it’s time to come home for tea!’, ‘Who’s that man with the white jersey and blue shorts playing with you? Is that your PE teacher from school?” etc etc. Hmm, I’m now going to change to decaffeinated – it seems that I have entered an alternative view of reality – one which may permit me to see the FPL future more clearly! smile
I too am in a stated of suspended conviction (is this possible?) – I’ve found a way to increase my Liverpool assets, but am in two minds as to whether it should be the existing TAA + Salah with Robertson or Mané. Obviously the Mané solution involves a greater level of change to the current landscape than does the inclusion of Andy R!
        Hmmm – decisions decisions! smile

        • Kralin says:

I’d just sit down and have a look at respective sides’ fixtures – maybe a couple of enablers with half decent games will enable a Mane and Salah double up for you.

The likes of Everton, Leicester, Bournemouth perhaps – with half an eye on WHU.

        • AJW says:

Again – wise words Kralin! Have been doing just that & fate seems to be taking me down the road of a double L/pool defence, or maybe Firmino up front – could sell Rashers and bingo! (Well if I sell another unsuspecting member of Squirrel City to make up the 0.2 shortfall!). But worry not Kralin, as tis the new AJW, he who actually waits till the cup fixtures have been played before choosing the first move towards his DGW configuration, and he who shall no longer take hits for fun!
I feel a bit like Toad of Toad Hall! smile

        • AJW says:

Or perhaps the Salah + Mané + TAA combo – leaving the rest of the team to look after itself, tant bien que mal (In any way it is able to/Somehow etc etc!).

Should I bring in Ings or Rashford as my 3rd striker ?
