Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Happy New Year! Coming thick and fast these game-weeks aren’t they? And this one is our first DGW of the season with Spurs and West Ham having two matches each. It is their rearranged derby that concludes our GW on Thursday, but before then we have three days of action. Today sees five matches – the lunchtime fun sees a south coast battle as Brighton host Bournemouth. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy then at 3pm we have the Liverpool attack vs the Burnley defence, Leicester welcoming Huddersfield and Newcastle travelling to Stoke. The evening fun takes us to Goodison with Rooney inviting his old United mates over for a drink. And extras.
Tuesday sees four further matches in the evening – Palace go to Southampton, Swansea host Spurs, West Ham and West Brom meet and Man City pound Watford.
The best is yet to come. Wednesday sees just one match, but what a match as Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates.
Our New Year extravaganza then comes to a conclusion with Spurs’ and West Ham’s double date at Wembley.
Time to go large, score well and enjoy!

Any changes on this wildcard team?
Alternatively:
Alonso swings it to this one for me Ziddy.
Just don’t forget what Salah can do to you every week!
You have to get Salah in there! For Alli or Mahrez
Fair enough – thought I’d try bring him in after a couple of weeks when he’s back. How does the following look now?
ziddy
I think I prefer the final one with Salah in. Richarlison is fairly consistent and should do well for you. Arnautovic is good for now but you can reach a number of other midfielders from him if is form disappears.
Or if he goes off the deep end and gets suspended.
Hello all and hope you are all having an OK GW.

Think 2nd team worth to get on WC; Y or N?
Not for me Red. You can get close to that team in a few moves spread over a few weeks. I think the WC will pay far better dividends closer to a DGW.
Red, Init is 100% right. Playing your WC would be a massive FUBAR
Thanks
Cheers
Looking at making some changes to my mess of a team over the next couple of weeks
Switching Erikson and arnie to kdb and lingard maybe this week (may hold of on kdb until next)
And then basically it is either Ramsey and quaner or DCL and richarlison.
Simpson to Gomez
What do you think?
Thank you x
Joanne, given the fixtures they all have I would do nothing for next week personally. Alternatively, you could sort out Simpson I guess – get a cheapish playing defender with good fixtures
Erikson & Arnie to kdb & Lingard are probably okay, although I might be tempted to keep hold of Arnie until his form drops.
Gomez is a good transfer if he plays.
I’d hold the transfer and then reassess the following week
Thanks guys x
Anyone now concerned with DCL’s minutes now that Everton have signed Tosun?
What has always concerned me about DCL is his ability to score any points
2ft 0.4itb what suggestions would you guys make saving my wc for a later date
Rangel to Martin Kelly of Palace who seems to be getting a regular game, or possibly Alexander-Arnold who won’t play all the time but could be a good differential when he does and is pretty safe to put in your team as he (so far) hasn’t made any 5 minute cameos – he either plays or he doesn’t.
I will look into one of those changes thank you
Alonso? His ownership is just going to keep going up but not having him now surely is going to hurt managers?
7.2… ouch.
Currently pondering that one myself – I have Azpi and debating if he’s worth the extra – on recent form he does seem to be.
Switching between the two is a difficult choice considering up until GW17, Azpi had been scoring the better points.
I have both, and fully recommend it.
He would be in any WC draft I made just now.
Why ouch at £7.2m?
Any midfielder/striker at £7.2m who scored 123 points by now would be an absolute bargain.
I’d be confident in saying there is almost always a good way to get him into a team.
