Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23. We’re back for a quick ‘two dayer’ before being rudely interrupted again by the FA Cup next weekend. Wolves and Leicester kick us off on Saturday in the early game before we get going properly with no less than six 3pm games. Mid-table obscurity leads the way as Bournemouth welcome West Ham, Saints play Everton and Watford host Burnley. Further down the table there is at least some interest as Newcastle and Cardiff have a potential six pointer. Man United will be hoping that mid-table is but a distant nightmare when they play Brighton and then the big one, in terms of title importance anyway, is Liverpool hosting Palace.
The battle for 3rd, 4th or 5th heats up on Saturday evening as Arsenal and Chelsea clash.
Sunday begins with Huddersfield, and their ‘score-keeper’ checking that he has the numbers 8 & 9 in his bag, as Man City come to town. The Fulham bloke may as well be diligent too, ahead of Spurs visiting at 4pm. Stranger things have happened…

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Can’t believe I sold both Sterling and Sane after that 3-game stretch where they didn’t score. Now it seems I need to get at least one of them back but which one? What are peeps on here doing in terms of City coverage?

If I bought a Spurs right now it would be Alli.
But I would wait for the cup result and not buy if they win and then blank in GW27.

Re City I currently have Sane and very happy with him but will monitor what happens with Mendy return.

Looks like I have a Alli problem, might just do a -4 and get rid of both hazard and Alli for KDB & Sane – plenty of time though so let’s see what happens.
How did KDB play today? If he’s looking sharp it would be good to jump the crowd and get him early
Obviously sane and sterling got the points but I thought KDB looked decent
KDB is such a classy player I’d always have him in a real team. Too often though he sets up the assist and misses out on the points
Just be wary of the upcoming blank fixture for City in GW27
I thought K.d.b looked pretty average to be honest.I’d go for Sane and wait and see what happens when Mendy comes back.Didnt they start together for a few games just before Mendy’s injury ?
