Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23. We’ve gone from feast to famine in terms of a hectic Christmas and NY period to the lull of FA Cup weekend. However we return to normality this week – a 3-day gameweek! We kick off with six 3pm matches – Danny Drinkwater gets a chance to show his old employers how far he has come as he watches Chelsea host Leicester. From the bench presumably. Palace welcome Burnley, West Ham go to Huddersfield, basement dwellers Swansea travel to Newcastle, Watford and Saints meet at Vicarage Road and Lord Pardew looks to continue West Brom’s brilliant run as they host Brighton. The evening match sees bus driver Big Sam drive down to Spurs.
Sunday sees two matches – first up is Wilshere’s journey back to his best days as Arsenal go to Bournemouth before the highlight of the gameweek as Raheem is another to make a return as Man City take the short trip across to Liverpool.
Our gameweek concludes with a Monday night special as under fire Mark Hughes continues the themes of returns as he takes his relegation threatened Stoke lot to Man United.

From the advice a few have given me on here (Appreciate it) – this is what I’ve come up with. Wilson and defenders will rotate but needed to do something radical!

Hello mate.
That was my original plan but I want to differ to other teams and most in my league have Firmino. Plus Mane could easily get more points than Firm as they interchange a lot and u get more points for a mid. It’s a risk I admit
Why are you not a fan of 1 upfront Big Popz?
I like this MH! Think in your position it could really work in your favour. The key will be patience, don’t jump around too much chasing points. When you have good players you need to keep the faith, as they always come good.

Hey all, jumping in the “to Kun or not to Kun” conversation. Originally had option 1 in mind, but now seriously considering option 2 which would give me Kane/Kun/Firmino. Don’t see a good way to get both this week without losing Kane and I’m not keen on that. Thoughts?
1- DCL > Kun and Mustafi > 4.1 def (bench fodder)
2- RLC > Salah and DCL > 4.9 fwd (McBurnie/Crouch/Hemed, etc)

Did early TF of Mahrez and Depoitre out to Firmino and Bakayoko in.

I’m keen on bringing in Mahrez at the moment. Bakayoko (5.0) won’t bring you many points since he is a defensive mid. Ibe at that similar price (4.8) would have been a better attacking option IMO.

So I already did Alli to Salah which was the obvious move, now I’m contemplating whether I need to do ither transfers, I still have 1ft and 0.9 itb.
I’m back bit scared not to have Aguero, but that could require a lot of moves, unless I sell Kane, which doesn’t sound too appealing.
What other moves should I consider? I was thinking RLC to Ibe, or DCL to Wilson? Or if I sell DCL for someone cheaper, I could do Eriksen to KDB next week?
Any news about RLC by the way? He’s been out for weeks now but no news on his injury.
Any advice welcome, I’m a bit lost this week!

This is how I am shaping up the lineup so far for GW24. 1FT with 0.7 ITB. Anyone I swap from the lineup? Any transfers I should bring in or should I roll it over to the next GW?

I think you have to be looking to upgrade Okazaki there. I would buy Firmino.
To make that work I would downgrade KDB to Arnautovic or Lanzini from West Ham or whoever you could afford from Leicester. Difficult to lose the City player but those strikers need some work.
Personally I would roll it. I would not sell KDB if I had him
