Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.

We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.

Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.

Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.

Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.

The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Didn’t realise Holding was benched, that’s annoying.

  2. Only reason I am watching Arsenal for the first time in a long time.

  3. Auba will be in my WC team :biggun:
    The king is back

    • Look at his upcoming fixtures. I also believe no Doubles for them at all.

      • Yes unfortunately fixtures are bad and no double.

      • In the form he’s in I can see him scoring against most of those teams, City would be the only one I wouldn’t expect anything from though he does have a good record against them.
No doubles but also no blank in Gw29 which would be very helpful for me without my FH chip

  4. Need Holding to come on so I don’t get Alioski points (or lack of)

  5. Hiya lads!

How’s this for a WC draft? Have enough money itb to bring in Kane for Ings for 26.
A bit scared going without Salah but Sterling has been very consistent recently and is looking sharp, so he’s in. Would rather get rid of Salah than Bruno.

    Thoughts appreciated!

    • I would rather get rid of Salah then Bruno no question.

Without having all the DGW information yet, that looks a good squad in my opinion.

    • I’d prefer them both to Sterling

    • I would keep Salah and get Stones instead of Shaw.

    • Cheers guys!

Quickly looking at the FPL site and comparing these players:
Bruno has 4 goals and 4 assists in his last 10 games.
Salah has 4 goals and 0 assists in his last 10 games.
Sterling has 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 10 games (excluding an 8-min sub appearance).

With these stats and the difference in form between Man City and Liverpool, Sterling over Salah seems sensible to me. Though I will be scared not having Salah for SHU, Ful, and Wolves. But the same could have been said for the Brighton and Burnley games…

      • Still feel the same. You can get Stones for 5 million. Bruno is the best player in the game. Salah maybe if you want to go without Liverpool

    • If you haven’t BB already I’d go for two playing keepers.
