Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24
Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.
We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.
Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.
Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.
Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.
The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.

DGW for City
Does this mean Southampton won’t have a double in 26?
They could potentially have a double in GW26 of Everton and Spurs. However it’s also possible for the Spurs game to be in GW28.

Hmm – just watching the City-Everton match – Richarlison has a nasty attitude doesn’t he? He’s not coming in to any of my teams unless he changes – he looks like a YC magnet! Anyway…
He’s just a bit thick. Hence all the complaining whenever he perceives a foul against him, usually when he’s the perpetrator, and all the diving.
He often gets sent off in games like this and being on a yellow already bodes well (or doesn’t) in that respect!

if someone plays a 4-4-2 formation, and a striker doesnt play, who will be the person on the bench that comes in, when the bench order is
striker (dcl), midfielder (son), defender (konsa)

There must be a minimum of 3 defenders, 2 mids, and 1 forward. As long as that is ensured players will come on in the bench order.
ok, for some reason, i thought either son or konsa would come on, but then the formation would all be wrong.

The bench only goes out of synch if you play three at the back and one of the three doesn’t play.
* I had no idea DCL had played so looks like I’m completely wrong
Son played (2 points) – so he would come on instead of antonio making a formation of 4-5-1 (konsa got 6 points – so that persons team would only get Son’s 2)
oh I see. Well I didn’t see, not knowing about the Antonio angle.
Didn’t realise you were asking with this week in mind thought you were asking generally. Since DCL didn’t play any minutes Son will come on
Incidentally I watched a good documentary tonight that amongst other things featured the development, promotion and subsequent mass addiction to Valium. Betty Ford herself admitted, via archive footage, of being ‘over-medicated’.

Well the second part of the DGW turned into a anti climax with no Gundogan or stones and no CS for Pope or Dias. Only managed an extra 3 points from 4 players.
Even got a red arrow with 78 points.
