Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24
Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.
We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.
Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.
Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.
Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.
The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.
The games in full…

Dallas YC.
Antonio better play.
WC draft not hit the button yet. Hard to squeeze in Grealish without trashing the defence. Is Davies fairly nailed now? Think Spurs will have 2 doubles.
With Grealish.
He’s only playing as Reg is injured. Don’t think he’s that far off
Thanks. Reg may be back next week. If Spurs have a double double 26 +27/28 who would be the third Spurs player to get after Kane and Son?
Not sure there is one as he keeps changing the defence. Prob is Reguillon if fit. Not sure Dier has his place back
Third Spurs player – Lloris?
You played BB already?
Yep BB and FH gone, so 3.9 keeper and need to plan for 29. Will probably have 3x Leeds on the bench for 26.
Fair enough
I suspect both Villa and Saints may have other doubles 27/28 potentially.
Same front three I’m going for. I’m looking at tidying up the City defence, e.g. bringing in Cancelo for Stones or Dias. Can’t make up my mind about Son.
Just a quick thought to next GW, I know more will be clear when all the doubles in GW26 are announced. What would make more sense?
1) Original plan: Coufal >> Dallas using my FT and play him over Antonio/Stones (team below)
2) WC this week and then BB in GW26
No longer have my FH so also need to navigate the blank in GW29, could possibly do the Dallas move this week and decide whether to WC in GW 26 or after that to help me with the blank. Just not sure when I’ll get another chance to use my BB
I’m wildcarding this week but may not BB in 26. I’m trying to cover as many bases as possible (anticipating 27 and 28 as well as managing 25 as best I can).
What’s your thoughts everyone on captain Bamford this double game week coming?
He’s got 2 games, so that’s a start! I think he’ll be popular.
Probably the most popular pick I’d expect
Is it your captain pick?, What’s the chances of Antonio missing out tomorrow?
Prob Bamford. I have no idea on Antonio fingers crossed
I’m hoping not for Antonio got 9 points Bellarin on the bench
Currently got it on Bruno with Bamford vice:
Bamford is a good candidate – as is Ings.
Bruno versus Newcastle also appeals.
Was anyone brave enough to get that new guy Maja at 5.5?
Currently with a brace against Everton and Burnley to go on Wednesday.
His ownership is 0.0%. Bit early to make a judgement. Fulham’s next two games are nice, but bad after that.
True, it could be just the newbie excitement or beginner’s luck. time will show.
He scored two goals from a yard out. Who knows what he’s capable of
Everton are appalling!
Don’t the players know how to play football or something? there is no excuse for being this poor.
Maybe fans are expecting to much to soon?
