Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Back to normality then, no more DGW/TC dilemmas to contend with, for a bit anyway. Back to 10 games within 2 days, done and dusted. None of this waiting around for a week and a bit nonsense.

Leicester and Chelsea kick us off on Saturday in the early one which is followed by a whole raft of 3pm games, none of which look particularly exciting other than perhaps Liverpool vs Southampton. The evening game should perk us up a bit as Nuno takes his Wolves to see what they make of Ole’s United.

Sunday sees us out as quick as we came with two games. The first is a clash of both cultures and perhaps desire as Arsenal visit Burnley. The second sees a clash of a different sort as Jose and Pep renew acquaintances at White Hart Lane, or whatever it’s called these days.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 25 from all at FF247!

      Kralin says:

Not sure but probably wise to stick with Leicester for that good run.

I don’t know much about Barnes at all, other than Barnes is a great surname for an attacking midfielder.

      • Terminator says:

Is Barnes a better choice over Pérez considering the latter is £300k cheaper, idk I just cannot get on with Leicester players, I had Vardy for a while and he didn’t do much when I had him four goals and two assists in last twelve games, I had him with Maddison who has got two goals and two assists in the last twelve games!

        • Kralin says:

Vardy saved my arse earlier in the season but has gone off the boil quite badly. But that’s for me to worry about.

I may do a bit of research on Barnes as I have Grealish, whose Villa have truly terrible fixtures.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

And a blank coming up as well, those buggers unbelievably made the milk cup final… I sometimes still pinch myself to see whether I’m actually dreaming that bit

        • Kralin says:

Those buggers making the final justifies the competition. Shame it’s not Villa versus Wolves or something spicy like that.

I think Man City and Liverpool not wanting the competition is actually a very good reason for keeping the competition.

Who cares about fpl… it’s all about H&L!!

I’m feeling the Lundy must go bandwagon a bit but I don’t know who to replace him with. It is a little frustrating that I bought him at 4mil, he’s at 5.1mil now but I can only get 4.5mil if I sell him. Anyways what do you all think? Sell Lundy, sell someone else or roll the transfer?

    Smash says:

Morning I have one free transfer and 0.2 in the bank. I could roll but I could replace Lundstram with I guess another Sheffield United defender. I’m guessing Mane will be back. Any ideas?

    Morning all,
    I miss OldGoat too …
But then I’m also not on here very often …

    So I have 2FT only 0.1 ITB.
Lund needs to go. I could get a premium defender if I also lose Vardy.
    Thinking Kelly to Ward also.
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

      GentleBenAKA says:

I already have Lascelles so I’m considering Stevens and Stephens because it sounds cool

      • Kralin says:

        Excellent thinking.

It’s a shame there isn’t a right click on a player’s name option with the chance to retype and call them what you want.

During matches people will be typing ‘SALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’ and you’ll be saying, no, it’s ‘Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevveeeeeeeennnnnnnnnns’

      • Stone Frog says:

Why not get Stephens (Bri) in mid field as an enabler.

        • Stone Frog says:

Why not double Hedeson, Wilson and Barnes too. smile

        • Kralin says:

Yes, keep it all in the family. When Terminator mentioned Barnes last night I assumed he meant the Burnley geezer – I hadn’t really tuned into his brother down in Leicester.

Oddly there is only one Smith to choose from; Jones’ lead the way there.

More fancifully, perhaps, people could add a Caledonian flavour by choosing from the numerous Mcs on offer.

        • Smash says:

Yeah Barnes has looked really good all season with no end product. Suddenly he’s showing signs of that

Hi guys, strange week 63 points with KDB to play thank goodness for Liverpool players who got me 49 points, the rest was a shambles!! I haven’t played any chips yet (due to missing the deadline on Liverpool’s DGW like a fool) how is everyone planning on using them? X

    • 78.1
      Kralin says:

      Yes, thank goodness for them.

I wouldn’t worry too much on missing out on the TC thing – there were a lot of people unlucky there and the main(sic) beneficiaries were Salah TCers.

I’m holding back until we know more about the DGW. Some people have worked out when these may be – and I daresay a spreadsheet or two may be unfurled soon to help some plot their way through all that. But if say the likes of Vardy or Kun have a DGW then they’ll be likely TC candidates. I tend to prioritise bench-boost.

      Raziel says:

No chips played and no plans yet. Sort of in the same boat as you with just KdB left to play. Hide… Hehe.

With 49 points my guess is you also got Firm.. I kept Mane… Feel a bit stupid at the moment… :help:

      • Raziel says:

Aaah yes we literally are the same. I also missed the dgw deadline… Haha. Also not the first time….

In hindsight though… Is it really that bad we missed it? No Pool players excelled and I capped Salah so in the end the triple clappers only got one third more points… Also, those Mane tc’ers….

        • joanne says:

Ha ha it could have been a lot worse yes I put Firmino And Maddison in this week for manè and ayew but will probably swap back next week x
