Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Back to normality then, no more DGW/TC dilemmas to contend with, for a bit anyway. Back to 10 games within 2 days, done and dusted. None of this waiting around for a week and a bit nonsense.

Leicester and Chelsea kick us off on Saturday in the early one which is followed by a whole raft of 3pm games, none of which look particularly exciting other than perhaps Liverpool vs Southampton. The evening game should perk us up a bit as Nuno takes his Wolves to see what they make of Ole’s United.

Sunday sees us out as quick as we came with two games. The first is a clash of both cultures and perhaps desire as Arsenal visit Burnley. The second sees a clash of a different sort as Jose and Pep renew acquaintances at White Hart Lane, or whatever it’s called these days.

    • Yeah same he’s been doing gym work in Mallorca

      • With Firm grabbing all those points yesterday it feels a little bit stupid.

        • Yeah Mane is my differential in my mini league while others have Firmino or double defence so it’s annoying

  2. This team has dropped almost 1 million spots in the last 8 gameweeks. From 120k to 1M…

    The problem is that I dont really know whats wrong with it. What to do? 1Ft and 0,1 itb….

    • I don’t know either.

      Another Liverpool player the target?

    • Probably boring but a defender maybe? A different SHU player or else someone instead of Maddison?

      • Both maddy and vardy are close to being kicked out actually. But there are no obvious replacements. Jimenez maybe for vardy but that’s not a huge improvent is it?

        • Could do vardy->firmino…

          That might be something?

        • If you’re looking for a Liverpool differential, The Ox might be worth a punt instead of Maddy, which frees up some funds. He seems to be getting decent game time of late and has scored in the last two games

    • Defence in my opinion.
      Downgrading Vardy looks the only way to raise cash.

    • Bank this week, then move out Kun before the blank. May be something like bank then Kun and Maddison or Grealish to Mane and Jimenez or Ings.

    It’s ok to be greedy but it’s also important to know a good thing when you have it.

      My score is almost a third of it!! (34-4)…

      • Yes Frenchie but there’s still hope for you – with KDB + Auba cappo! Cheers – just made the traditional Australian sunday ‘couscous’ (basically the only traditional Australian element is the shoulder of lamb!) – can’t wait to tuck in with my first touch of wine in 33 days! (Dry January went along so quickly when I was so obsesssed by FPL concerns! smile . Tu vas regarder ‘Le Crunch’ cet aprèm? Apparently my compatriot Eddie Jones has been making incendiary comments in the press. Might bode for an upset at Stade de France!!! smile

          But I’m in Amsterdam this weekend so it probably won’t be the ideal conditions… I’ve yet to find a bar with commentary on. Most people don’t care here.

        • Don’t select the wrong brand of coffee then Frenchie- you may be watching the match in ‘Ultra 3D’, where you can see the players jumping off the screen right before your eyes! Hahaha :big_boss: Bonne chance mon gars ! smile

    • Hey GP – congrats! And what magnanimous behaviour in not being disappointed about Snoddy! Just to let you know I may be banging on the same door (ie. the 150k one), but will be coming from the opposite direction (downwards!) if I don’t start stringing along some good performances – my recent successes (Aguero, Firmino & Salah) being offlaid by some rather ordinary stuff from the other team members AND from the Squirrel City coach, namely yours truly, AJ! smile

    • À brace from Aguero and a few assists and the odd goal from Kev is not in the realms of the impossible….. I hope! smile

      • As I slowly meander fully sozzled to the stadium, I’m very much hoping that Aguero gets nothing today! I have KDB so he can score, so long as Spurs score more! :drinks:
