Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

The big one is here. And as DGW’s go this one is rather large with no less than 17 games spanning 6 days, starting on Saturday and finishing up at about 10pm on Thursday. That’s about 1,530 minutes worth of football, or 25.5 hours, and every last drop of it is televised.

A small word of caution here, other than the obvious which is to have a good divorce lawyer to hand, after we finish on Thursday you get just the one day off as GW27 begins on Saturday again with an 11am deadline.

We won’t script out all 17 games here, the picture below tells a thousand words, other than to say that there are 4 games on Saturday, 5 on Sunday, 1 each on Monday and Tuesday and 3 each on Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 26 from all at FF247!

Chaos for the FPL folks. Four goals, but really just three… But only two assists… Atleast Gündo got one smile

When you’re at 1-1 in the 79th min and Pep decides to bring in a solitary substitute to change the game and that player is Gundogan, doesn’t that mean he views Gundogan as a pretty important game changer ? I doubt he a
was brought into the game for defensive coverage. Thoughts ?

Just fresh legs, I think. Plenty of other options of course: Foden (he only played 25 mins in the first game!), Agüero (needs the minutes) and Torres et al. I’m surprised Pep didn’t rest Sterling of KDB towards the end. It worked out for them though. Poor Wolves!

      • FplDoc789 says:

Just trying to figure where Gundo fits in with all the “KdB is back so Gundogan’s chances get affected” train.

Doesn’t seem like it to me based on Peps substitution last night.
Although the stats from the 2 prior games would say otherwise.

        • Loud Atlas says:

Any of City’s players could be among the points – they all get forward. But they’re all subject to his dastardly rotation schemes. If they play, they’ve got good chances to score big. Unless you’re Stirling and Dendoncker steals your goal :mosking: !

Haven’t been on here for quite a while. Having a horrible DGW to forget with 39 till now. I have all my chips including WC available to me, 1FT and and 3.2m ITB.

How would you navigate the upcoming weeks with the upcoming DGWs and BGWs?

Has McCarthy lost his place to Forster for good ? Looking to bring him in but not sure on what the McCarthy situation is. There was talk of a contract renewal. Surely he can’t be dropped permanently in the middle of that.
Any Southampton fans with a bit more info ??

No one at Southamptons back line looks like a good option to me. Their dwg includes city which could almost counter on points gained vs Sheffield.

I am debating a 1 week punt on jwp in for barnes. ( but in now saying it out loud probably won’t)

      • FplDoc789 says:

Well I have DDG in my team who I need to downgrade to a non playing keeper anyway.
This week seems to be the best time to move off your second playing keeper with Southampton having a high chance of a CS with SHU. Wouldn’t mind a 0 pointer vs city even, since i don’t see a Martinez CS (who is my main GK).
That’s my thinking anyway. Not planning on keeping Forster as my main keeper.

        • Gavy says:

I get your point in that case.

Personally I’ll be sticking by Martínez, even if he loses the cs could still walk away with a 4 pointer.

But if your just looking to get some funds foster is a smart move.

        • Gavy says:

Also a heads up he had 11 points in the away game v wolfs
