Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. This is the first of the so called ‘blank weeks’ when a few teams miss out on fixtures. This particular one is because Man City and Chelsea face off in the Milk Cup Final and subsequently both Everton and Brighton get to sit it out too. If this comes as a surprise to you (Hi Raz!) then don’t say we didn’t mention it once or twice in our articles this week. Right after giving yourself a good old slap in the face.
What it does mean is that we have just eight games this week, and rather unusually we begin with two on Friday night. In fact, we think this is the first time this has ever happened. Cardiff face Watford and Fulham play West Ham, so let’s just hope it wasn’t some sort of deliberate marketing tool to draw in viewing numbers…
Burnley and Spurs get us going in the early one on Saturday prior to a paltry two games in the traditional 3pm slot as Bournemouth host Wolves (fantasy relevant) and Newcastle host Huddersfield (not!). Leicester and Palace play in the late one.
Sunday does look a bit more enticing as Arsenal play Southampton mid afternoon before the tie of the weekend sees the GW out on Sunday with Liverpool going to Man Utd to try and make the most of their game in hand. No idea who Man Utd fans actually prefer to win this one!
The games in full…

What feels like a disaster of a GW is probably close to average. 28pts. but I only got 8 players this week with TAA benched. Camarasa and Peltier dropped, Wan-B injured. Still not going to panic. anybody thinking early moves or waiting to see how the cup final plays out first?
Have 2 ft and 1.0 I’m thinking maybe Brooks to Almirón but haven’t thought about my chip strategy yet.
Deulofeu outscored my whole attack, captaincy points included, by 2 pts this week! Great week 🙂
😆 😆
ZL, that has to burn, sorry.. What did you finish on this week?
38pts… Would have been a bit more if Auba stayed on the bench…
tough to complain about a 38 when the world is burning.. but ahhh.. what could have been.
Nice one! I am looking to next week i think…nothing to see here….move along now….
Ah…bench? Ouch!!
25 points, anyone get any lower? I must be one of the worst players out there right now, could seriously finish bottom of my ML atm, 11 straight weeks of red arrows.
We gotta think that TAA and Aubameyang start on Wednesday, no???
I’d think so, hell I’m even thinking of capping Auba again
Yea was planning Aubameyang to Aguero this gw but now I’m thinking that I should keep him another gw
Yeah I’m torn on those two. Auba has been a nightmare
TAA was left out bcs of tactical reasons.
Last time we played UTD he had a mare of a game.
This is why Milner occupied his position today.
He should be back for the next game.
Averages are in….
My 43 points seems ok then even if my lowest scoring player was my Captain
49pts here after activating my WC.
Expected more(expected at least a brace from Laca), but looking at the averages I’m super satisfied.
So far, my wicked plan is working :satansmoking:
Does anyone know what’s up with Trippier?
