Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. This is the first of the so called ‘blank weeks’ when a few teams miss out on fixtures. This particular one is because Man City and Chelsea face off in the Milk Cup Final and subsequently both Everton and Brighton get to sit it out too. If this comes as a surprise to you (Hi Raz!) then don’t say we didn’t mention it once or twice in our articles this week. Right after giving yourself a good old slap in the face.

What it does mean is that we have just eight games this week, and rather unusually we begin with two on Friday night. In fact, we think this is the first time this has ever happened. Cardiff face Watford and Fulham play West Ham, so let’s just hope it wasn’t some sort of deliberate marketing tool to draw in viewing numbers…

Burnley and Spurs get us going in the early one on Saturday prior to a paltry two games in the traditional 3pm slot as Bournemouth host Wolves (fantasy relevant) and Newcastle host Huddersfield (not!). Leicester and Palace play in the late one.

Sunday does look a bit more enticing as Arsenal play Southampton mid afternoon before the tie of the weekend sees the GW out on Sunday with Liverpool going to Man Utd to try and make the most of their game in hand. No idea who Man Utd fans actually prefer to win this one!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 27 from all at FF247!

Any ideas? Defence not looking great (hoping to get more than the 0 I got this week).

    Bednarek in for Peltier?

Solksjaer: ‘If he plays [on Wednesday] I’ll be maybe surprised.’

    Struggling with Auba/Aguero dilemma.

Aubameyang might get limited mins again vs Bournemouth.

Next game for the Arse is Spurs game on Saturday.

Emery, encouraged after today, that Arsenal could beat Bournemouth with Lacazette as the lone striker.

      Smash says:

Yeah I’m struggling as much as I want to get rid of Auba though it’s at home, he’s fully rested so will likely start and it’s Bournemouth. Aguero has just played 120 mins

      • Kralin says:

Bournemouth are seriously crap on the road. They really are hopeless.

I was wondering if I had the nerve to make the Auba pick a two-game gig and may well stick with him.

Mercifully we don’t have too many days to overthink things before the reckoning.

      • blue_serge says:

In exactly the same boat Smash. I desperately want to get Aguero back and I’m stressing over whether his price will go up too!
There is another way of looking at it, with the Saturday game being against Spurs perhaps they’ll want him to get some match practice in beforehand.

I’ll wait till tomorrow, what I may do is move Rashford out and replace him with Rondon, this will give me a 2.0m buffer so I don’t have to worry about Aguero’s price going up.

      Wafflez says:

Was planning to do Auba to Kun and Wan B to Pereira this gw.
But now I might just keep Aubameyang one more gw I think

      • hammerfan_lm says:

I really want to ditch Auba as well.
I will give him the Bournemouth game then he will be gone at the weekend in favour of Aguero.
Aguero has the doubles games as well, if Pep plays him.

        • Kralin says:

I had some fanciful thoughts of Leicester suddenly springing into life à la Man U and moving for Vardy in 29.

Puel being kicked into touch could be excellent timing.

However If I do some nerveless (i.e. stupid) non-Kun business he will be back on the FH.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

Im using my FH in GW31, so no need for Aguero then.
But he will be in my gw32 team, that is for sure.

        • blue_serge says:

If the statement about Jesus being touch and go for today’s game and only being ruled out late on is accurate, I would say he’s more likely than Kun to start against West Ham.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

I am hoping they will all be too knackered to play against West Ham, and we beat them.
Then again, a knackered city are still good.

        • blue_serge says:

The difference between them and Liverpool is their strength in depth.
Their bench is far stronger than Liverpool’s.

        • EBC says:

Man City might not have a double in GW32.

Depends if the Cardiff game is brought forward

        • hammerfan_lm says:

when will we find out EBC?

    Gavy says:

Laporte, rashford, Firmino and wan-b all could be out. Should I start looking at a wild card. Or just a -4 and wait to know all the dgw and use it better.

    • 106.1
      Kralin says:

      I’d save the wildcard.

      • AJW says:

Personally I’m starting to feel like Napoleon just before Waterloo. My generals Rashford, Aguero and Firmino look like deserting, leaving me with sweet F.A. (and I’m not talking about the Football Association Vivian!), except backline boys of Son, Pogs, Salah, Deulofeu (yes I had him!), Hayden, Doherty, Robbo and Bednarek (which just about describes the state of my team – like a ‘bed in a wreck’!) to hold up the fort. Unable to stop the deroute! Bye bye for this year people! Have moved down from 1m to 450 k in OR, but am about to start negotiating the slippery slope of imminent failure! As well as indulging in some choice metaphor mixing!

        • Kralin says:

Aguero will hopefully steady the ship for you – act as your Marshal Ney, minding your back.

Not much time before the next GW starts but hopefully you’ll get some definite news re Rashford and Firmino.

    Mitro says:

So do we think kun and sterling start midweek?

  6. 108
    man u man says:

Guys do we know the dgw games for sure in 32? Is the tracker up to date
