Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. Back so soon? Hopefully these random deadlines will be playing havoc with your mini-league rivals. And equally, hopefully not with you. Before we move on then, it’s probably worth noting that the next deadline is on Saturday, a mere 3 1/2 days from now. That one will be less of a surprise, but it’s always worth knowing.

Tuesday looks like a parade of the perennially mid-table / relegation battlers. Cardiff could actually go within 5 points of Everton with a win and we aren’t sure if that says more about Neil Warnock or less about Marco Silva. Huddersfield are pretty much done for and the Wolves are at the door. Brighton are not safe yet and will be looking to pull Puel closer to his own exit. Neither Newcastle or Burnley are mathematically safe just yet, a win for either would be a big step towards being so.

Wednesday brings an altogether more positive atmosphere with the big guns all on show. Sort of. Arsenal kick us of in pursuit of their main prize against Bournemouth; 4th place. Southampton and Fulham continue to defy our criteria with a true relegation battle. Chelsea and Spurs then look to threaten it, before the real big boys come in to play as Palace (no, not you!) host Man United, Liverpool grapple with Watford and Man City play with West Ham.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

I thought the matches started at 2 my time, so I logged in at 12:55 to make the changes I had planned, only to find it was past the deadline. Would have likely been Rashford & Slaha -> Kane and Mane. Time will tell how this goes… PEA captain should get the start as he was rested on the weekend.

    Huddersfield score?! Wtf
10 points lost in the 92nd minute

      Pancho says:

… the only thing I cared about happening today was a Wolves clean sheet. I would have taken a Jimenez goal, but that wasn’t very important. 92nd minute kills the double clean sheet and I’m on 5 points from 13…

      • SAFs_hairdryer says:

Exactly the same here. Nobody loses to Huddersfield. Or so I thought

        • EBC says:

We’ve gone back almost 5 years in time.

Get your money on Huddersfield to win the premier league next year.

        • gkw says:

Same. Mounie had missed at least one sitter earlier on so it shouldn’t have got to injury time before the Wolves CSs vanished.
On the bright side, Wolves stay down in 8th and Wattie will retain the coveted 7th place as long as we don’t get too badly tonked at Anfield tomorrow.

Wolves cant keep a damn fkg clean sheet. Went double Wolves defense with Patricio and Bennet and Jimenez up top.

      Likewise

Every time Wolves looked like making a substitution in the last 30 minutes I was begging “please take off Doherty”. (Oh well, at least Jota got to keep his CS instead.) This against the soundtrack of the stat-fixated commentators banging on about how many points Wolves have gained in the last ten minutes.

    Anon says:

Doherty has actually been a terrible fantasy signing hasn’t he, yes his underlying stats may be good, but his actual points scoring has been terrible, keeping him is one of the many reasons why I’ve done so bad.

Oh and I had Jimenez as captain too, great, that’ll be 12 straight weeks of red arrows then. I’m done with this game. 1.2 million OR now, whats the point,

    AT says:

Vardy takes himself out of the bonus points with a stupid yellow card. Nice one, ya d*ck

Should i jump the gun and do Rashford to Jimenez tonight ?
