Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. Back so soon? Hopefully these random deadlines will be playing havoc with your mini-league rivals. And equally, hopefully not with you. Before we move on then, it’s probably worth noting that the next deadline is on Saturday, a mere 3 1/2 days from now. That one will be less of a surprise, but it’s always worth knowing.

Tuesday looks like a parade of the perennially mid-table / relegation battlers. Cardiff could actually go within 5 points of Everton with a win and we aren’t sure if that says more about Neil Warnock or less about Marco Silva. Huddersfield are pretty much done for and the Wolves are at the door. Brighton are not safe yet and will be looking to pull Puel closer to his own exit. Neither Newcastle or Burnley are mathematically safe just yet, a win for either would be a big step towards being so.

Wednesday brings an altogether more positive atmosphere with the big guns all on show. Sort of. Arsenal kick us of in pursuit of their main prize against Bournemouth; 4th place. Southampton and Fulham continue to defy our criteria with a true relegation battle. Chelsea and Spurs then look to threaten it, before the real big boys come in to play as Palace (no, not you!) host Man United, Liverpool grapple with Watford and Man City play with West Ham.

    Planning ahead and with all the predicted price changes tonight may have to make an early move. Planning to FH in 31 and aiming to make the most of BB in one of the DGWs! With that in mind, which do you prefer…or any of suggestions? 2FTs £0.2itb

        • Redkev – I think you play your own game now regardless of price fluctuations. If you want Aguero and he’ll be out of reach with tonight’s predicted price raise then yeah, do it. You know the risks here do and I for one wouldn’t do that in the middle of a mid gameweek. Not sure you need Sane if he’s on the bench.

        • Cheers DMC yeah I’d rather not do it now but I’d hate to miss having Kun for the rest of the season even more so. Out of the 2 above which do you think is better? Option 2 is a -4 but does keep Kola/Arsenal cover for their dgw and in respect to your Sane point it also leaves 0.1itb to swap him to Mane!?

        • Who are you taking out in both options?

        • 1- Auba and Kola
          2 – Auba Moutinho and Wan B

        • You need to raise 0.4 to go Auba-> Kun right? Why not just the Moutinho->Hayden and Auba->Kun? I’d avoid any hits at this stage mate; especially with 2 injured players in there already.

        • Missed the price changes mate, pressed confirm at 1.15 but they seemed to change 5 min earlier than usual so those moves are out the window sad gutted!
          Yeah could do Kun and up to a 4.8 mid, do really fancy Duffy though considering his dgw fixtures and attacking potential plus WB no return date. If got Duffy I could afford a 4.3 mid …maybe Dendoncker!?

        • Yeah could be. Have got Dunk as an option too I suppose and at least i don’t have the worry of the proposed new players getting injured before I get to play them now. Good luck this gw mate!

        • B&HA aren’t in the best of form though. Their forthcoming fixtures are all right, but even lowly Wolves-slaying Huddersfield may fancy their chances.

          But it’s not like there’s a lot of choice around at that price, I know. Maybe a cheap WHU defender. Hmm.

        • Downgrade one of your keepers and you’ll have the cash for PEA to Kun

  3. So the top 8 purchases going up tonight do not have a game in the BGW31. How do you explain that.
