Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28

Look, it’s a regular gameweek with no blanks or no doubles and to be honest some of us are so thankful for that.

This super normal GW kicks off on Friday when Toon play host to Emi “Lord of the Clean Sheet” Martinez, for non-owners he is known as “that bastard that kills me every week, but I am too stubborn to buy”.

Saturday gives us four more fixtures. Leeds tries to slow down a surging Chelsea side in the early game. Palace then takes on West Brom which is followed by Everton welcoming in Burnley and the day is capped off with Fulham taking on Pep’s XI, whatever that might be that day.

Sunday also gives us four encounters. Saints tangle with Brighton, Leicester dismantle Sheffield, Arsenal and Spurs square off in the North London Derby and 2nd place Manchester United face off vs the 5th place Hammers in the late one.

Monday sees a close to the gameweek when Wolves takes on the 3 points out of their last 21 Liverpool. Geez!

The games in full…

A little disappointed that that my 0-0 score prediction didn’t quite make it.

I guess Watkins is the silver lining

Wouldn’t have put money on anything but that, even up until the 85th minute.Looked a nailed on 0-0. Both were poor. It was like like watching a Championship game at times.

Just goes to show what a couple of players or so can do to liven a team up (Grealish, Wilson, ASM etc).

It had 0-0 written all over it and then that OG came out of nothing. Well Watkins not being able to hit a barn door which woke Newcastle up

Classed as OG now for Villas, Watkins assist by the look of it.

So whats the view on who will go down? At the moment, you would say Brighton with SHU and WB doomed

I would say Sheffield United and WBA are down unless there is some sort of miracle there. I would say Newcastle will join them I struggle to see where their points are going to come from and for me they have the worst team. Fulham have momentum now and are building on their strong defence. Brighton I feel because of their possession could pick up points at any time. If they could finish their chances of their keeper saved some shots they would be way clear

Probably a 3 way fight between Fulham Brighton and Newcastle to stay up. Fulham have some good momentum, so may well escape.

What you say? Take a (-4) for Bale + Auba to field 10 for 29?

    Martinez
    Dallas White
    Raphinha Son
    Watkins Bamford Kane

2FT and 4.0ITB! No chips and no WC. Could do
    1) Stones/DCL to Cresswell/Antonio
    2) Stones/DCL/Gundogan to Dawson/Antonio/PEA
    3) Something else?

It’s difficult as I would not want to be stuck with a lot of those players after: like I’d be wanting to ditch. Spurs player after Newcastle for example. I’d probably say just get rid of Stones and save the other personally as you have the core of players for this week. For example I’m free hitting and I’ll have probably 7 of the players you have

      1) is fine for me. I know Auba will be quite popular, especially for those FHing, but I think he is heavily overpriced and you can find better value elsewhere in the future (KDB i.e.). Also, Auba is a rotation risk, as I reckon Arsenal will go all in for EL.

Leaning towards 1 at the moment. Maybe banking in 30 then using the cash in GW31 to take out some Leeds players. I think there may be a double in GW32, will see. Will keep the Spurs players in case. I could always bench Bale or Son some weeks.
