Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Double Gameweek 29. Our game-week kicks off Saturday lunchtime with Bournemouth undoubtedly going to Anfield confident of a victory following their battling draw with Chelsea and Liverpool’s shocker at Watford. And Chelsea…

Five 3pm matches follow as resurgent West Ham go to the Emirates, GW28 victors Palace and Watford battle it out at Selhurst Park, Sheffield United welcome Norwich, Newcastle take the long trip to Southampton and Wolves host Brighton.

The evening kick off sees Burnley welcoming Spurs to Turf Moor.

Sunday brings us what we hope is two goal ridden matches – first up Ancelotti returns to Chelsea with his Everton lads before the Manc derby takes place at Old Trafford.

Our game-week continues on Monday this week as Leicester aim to return to winning ways as they host a Villa side who are now just concentrating on the league. Or at least just trying to stay in it…

And then we extend further as Arsenal go to Man City to complete their ‘DGW’ on Wednesday.

  1. Everton are shocking!

    • Pickford played well….

      The plus point is that I now have a new favourite worst player in Sidibe! That was touching Earl Barrett levels today.

      • There’s a few of those players who should not be there next season.

        • Him, Tom Davies (unfortunately, hasn’t ‘trained on’), Siggy, Keane and Kean. Rest are ok.

          Unusually flat today but it happens I suppose. The daft thing is that they came away from the usual game plan which was (ironically now) detailed brilliantly on that pod we were discussing with GP. They did none of that today and it showed.

        • Siggy and Keane were the first two that sprung to my mind. They made Chelsea look better than they actually are!

        • They did but they did play well. Mount, Happy, William and Pedro were all good and Zouma had DCL in his pocket.

  2. What about FH31, BB34 and WC37?

    • Or, WC now, BB34, FH37? Just thinking of diff. options.

          D: TAA, VVD, Boly, (Rico?),(Soyuncu)
          M: Salah, (KDB, Fernandes, Mooy, Saka)
          F: Jim, (Auba, Ins)
          5 players now with Rico 10% chance, can get 2 more without hit.

        • I’m gonna play gw31 with 9 players, dont think it’s worth using fh just to get two more….

          In your case it’s for 4 more players… Could be worth it.

        • Thing is how different your free hit team will look. Depends if it’s only a few extra players and which teams they are from

  5. I will have 2FT before GW31. Do I ditch Dendonker to allow Jimenez?. May be Auba and Dendo to Jimenez and Bergwijn to give me 9. Or do I forget Jimenez and just get in 2 more players and play 10.

    • I could actually go for Auba and Dendonker to C. Wilson and Alli after next week if I’m not priced out, which may be a better option.

      • Wilson hasn’t done shyt all for weeks and weeks. That he scored yesterday was a one off…

      • I think you are going to be well set. Yeah I quite like Wilson and Alli. Seems a slight waste ditching Dendoncker as that’s a couple of points in itself

    • Alli better shot and on penalties?

    • I don’t currently. Saw the fixtures and did not think he was necessary till after blank and he’s scoring every week

    • He’s a fantastic player, passed the eye test immediately. Showing Pogba what an actual playmaker looks like! Only real surprise is that a club like Utd were able to attract him and he didn’t go to one of the big boys.

      • He’ll probably move to Juventus in a year or two.

      • With him united could actually become one of big boys again.

      • +1. Pogba is nothing but a over hyped player.

        • He was one of the stars of the French side that won the World Cup! 😉

        • Sidibe was in that squad 😯 :rofl:

        • Even the best teams need someone to carry the water bottles!

        • Hehe Init, Sidibe didn’t play a single minute though whereas Pogba was essential.
          But I remember at the time Sidibe was by far my most hated player!! Completely rubbish!!

        • My 8 year olds make more effort tackling and have better positional sense than him. Seriously.

          He cost us the Arsenal game and what he did today was just embarrassing.
