Five 3pm matches follow as resurgent West Ham go to the Emirates, GW28 victors Palace and Watford battle it out at Selhurst Park, Sheffield United welcome Norwich, Newcastle take the long trip to Southampton and Wolves host Brighton.
The evening kick off sees Burnley welcoming Spurs to Turf Moor.
Sunday brings us what we hope is two goal ridden matches – first up Ancelotti returns to Chelsea with his Everton lads before the Manc derby takes place at Old Trafford.
Our game-week continues on Monday this week as Leicester aim to return to winning ways as they host a Villa side who are now just concentrating on the league. Or at least just trying to stay in it…
And then we extend further as Arsenal go to Man City to complete their ‘DGW’ on Wednesday.

General question.
I know its a case of, try and play your own game if you can, and have been when I can, but just general advice and opinions as its getting to the nitty gritty now.
I still have FH, TC, BB and WC, and am looking to use them on the following:
GW33 – WC ??
GW34 – BB
GW35 – TC (probably, just not sure on who yet)
GW36 – WC??
GW37 – FH (as apparently this is going to be the bigger doubles week
Not sure when the best time to wildcard either, hence the 2 possible gameweeks.
does this look viable? Any suggestions?
Wud BB be more useful in 37 ? More games.
You want BB when the cheaper players have the two games. Free hit potentially when the more expensive players have the games. Well that’s my view on it anyway which is why I’m looking at BB GW34 and free hit in 37
Agreed it does depend a bit on the cheaper players/teams and when they have the better fixtures. Also 37 may be a rotation lottery, so you may find you don’t field 15.
This is what I’m looking at doing, BB34 FH37…
Also more useful to WC after BGW31 to get rid of some players you don’t want, who are just there for BGW31…

TC in 34 if a player of worth has a double the move FH to 38. If not TC in either 35/36 (the one you don’t WC) or 38 (presuming you FH in 34) on the best in form player. Fernandes, KDB, Salah, Mane I.e. as sure as a sure thing can be

No point wildcarding in 36 in you’re going to FH in 37!
Try to WC as close as possible to your BB.
Kop, think Dreamers/Rosco have it right. If I FH in gw34, and WC in gw36, I can BB in gw37
TC for gw35, depending on whether there is a better captains choice that week, or before.
For your TC, I’d seriously consider Fernandes.
Kop, yes he is a possibility. just depends on when.
If i TC in 35, ManU have Southampton, Liverpool have Burnley, and City have Brighton
Think WC is best for GW36 if I am BB in GW37
United have Bournemouth in 33
Pool have Villa, and City have Southampton.
City don’t care about the league anymore and Liverpool will hopefully have the league won. United have it all to play for.
Yeah I suppose there is that. Pool probably would have won the league by then.
If nothing obvious emerges I may keep the TC up my sleeve until GW38. Very risky but points are so critical in that final GW that even getting an extra 4 or 6 may make all the difference.
I’m going against the flow to FH31 because that suits my team, WC 33 because I’m afraid Liverpool players will get rotated after winning the league, and like most I’ll BB37. I already TC Salah wk 1 for a sneaky hit on my H2H league

Opinions please:
(1) 2 more wins (Eve and Palace) and Pool wins the PL, they lost once and thus no other significant feat to achieve as such. May be they try to break 100 pt. barrier. Considering this, do you plan to hold 3 pool players after Gw31? Salah and Mane will chase the golden boot though.
(2) Doherty or Jota? Already have Jimenez and Boly.
(3) BB37 looks like a popular strategy. But is not BB34 a better option assuming a mini DGW? Because after fitting big guns in playing 11, there will be almost no fund for good bench players. BB is all about those 4 players with a good DGW match-up. Anyone tried a draft BB team for Gw37?
1) I’m not sure about the 100 point thing. There could well be a dropping off of intensity as / when the league is wrapped up – pretty natural. If it was closer you’d imagine a push for 100. I may drift away from Liverpool players.

I’m hoping the battle for the CL spots provides most of the player ballast for my team. Leicester don’t look that safe for 3rd, Man U are closing in on 4th, City’s potential ban means finishing 5th may see a side in the CL.
This year leaving Pool, the competition looks likely to go to the wire. I don’t see Gw37 will be too much of a beach party for many teams.
Hopefully not but the BB in 37 has been played with varying degrees of success in the past.
Until I have a more concrete idea of who plays double when I can’t really start planning too much for it now. My thoughts are around week 31 and its immediate aftermath (in that I don’t want to be lumbered with too many dud players).
1) Not just yet, and this depends on whether Pool actually win Eve & Palace or not, I am at least keeping triple Pool until they are officially won the title
2) Doherty
3) Haven’t this much thought yet, will think about this after GW31… But GW34 would be better for BB I think also because it’s further away from season end meaning there might be more teams still having something to play for, perhaps less rotation, and I wanna use WC just before BB and I wanna WC a lot sooner than for GW37 as the WC will help also in all the non-double GWs

People being harsh on the city goalie. If it was in the middle of the match I get it. But these were literally the last seconds and he wanted play to continue very fast. A mistake but the circumstances make it less bad. See it as a goalie going forward during the last corner. You need to take risks late game

He didn’t have a good game, he was at fault for both goals… Don’t think Ederson himself agrees with you here, he thinks he should have done a lot better I believe
Just talking about the last goal. And yeah, of course he should have done better. But the timing of the second goal, 97th minute. I get it’s all it nothing. Normally you look twice before throwing that ball. The time just wasn’t there… And well it was a beautiful goal. Hehe.
I’d be happy if City gets a CS next game.

Anyone else doing MLS fantasy? Just got a message saying I had breached the salary cap! They are putting prices up by $1000 a week for some players this week. I am at 126.9 and have to sell some good players for crap players,so it becomes more of a level playing field. Why do they continually mess about with the product they have?
