Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 29. We start the gameweek Saturday lunchtime but don’t get your hopes up. It’s Burnley vs Everton as Croaky Sean battles Big Sam in a defence-off. Feel free to wake up for the 3pm kick offs – there are five matches with Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Southampton facing Stoke, Huddersfield go to Wembley to tame the Spurs, West Ham go to Swansea and Pardew looks for a win as the Baggies travel to Watford. The early evening match sees Rafa return to Anfield.
Sunday sees two matches – first up Brighton get to have a go at the Arsenal defence before the match of the weekend takes place at the Etihad as Man City host Chelsea.
Monday night sees the end of the game-week as Palace host Man Utd at Selhurst Park.

Hey guys is Ibe likely to play Gw 31 ????
He’s normally a regular starter when he’s fit, but has been out the last couple with a knock so not so sure. If you’re considering him probably best to wait and see if he plays next GW before transferring him in.
Yeah think I’ll be looking at a Bournemouth midfielder. Keeping an eye on Stanislas
Silvers, i think he struggles for a start now King is back and Stanislas is fit and starting.
Howe rarely tinkers when the team is doing ok, which they are at the mo.

What’s your current team and what’s your chip situation?
I’m about 110 behind mine turkey but keeping the faith. I think he has his chips but I think he’s rode his luck and might muck up how he plays them.
100 points over the next 9 weeks is very possible, especially if you play your chips well.
Makes the end of the season a lot more entertaining for you chasing as well.
And would still leave him 10 short

Evening all. 52 with DDG and lingard to play. Mahrez for sterling went against my gut (losing value on sterling plus he plays for city) but it worked out for this week at least. Any standout non Liverpool players for 31 that people would consider a must have?
Shaqiri seems to be a pretty popular choice, Though I won’t be bringing him in as don’t fancy his fixtures in the few games after.
Not if you just factor in the next 2 fixtures.
Huddersfield and Everton have the easiest 2 fixtures on paper, but Huddersfield have no stand out players and Everton have been awful recently. Siggy has looked okay, otherwise a Huddersfield gamble may be the best move.
If you’re looking beyond the next 2 weeks as well, Bournemouth, Huddersfield and West Brom all have okay fixtures until GW33/34.
So short answer = no.

So what are you guys doing with Kane for the BGW? Keeping or selling? He has Chelsea and Stoke away in 32 and 33. The strikers with matches in both 31 and 35 aren’t very appealing, but Deeney has scored in each of his last 3 home matches and his matches in 31-33 and 35 are Liverpool (A), Bournemouth (H), Burnley (H), and Crystal Palace (H). So anyone selling Kane for Deeney or anyone else? (I exclude the matches in GW 34 as I will play my FH then)

I think if I ever sold Kane for Deeney I would quickly press the quit button shortly after!
I’m benching even though I’ll probably wildcard after. Won’t need the cash as the blank GW players are really cheap so might as well keep the value I have in Kane

If those 7 include 3 Pool players, 1 of which is Salah, then absolutely.
It’s probably alright .im expecting a lot to use the free hit chip. It completely depends if you have wildcard still.

FH will be used in gw35 by most of the players,me thinks…especially the higher ranked ones…
Makes more sense as the “stronger” teams will be involved in that one…
GW31 is not really spectacular by the names of the teams involved in it…
I’m looking at my mini league and a few look like they might be in trouble for GW31 if they don’t use it. I’m not higher end lol

Yes, 7 seems to be quite all right.
Most teams will probably have 7-9 players I guess…
3 LIV ; 1 STK ; 1 EVE is the bare minimum…
Everything above this will only be a plus…
1 Everton is likely for most who have invested in Walcott/Siggy/Martina over the last few weeks.
I am definitely not sold on any Everton players for 31 now, especially away from home. Am even considering triple Stoke for it 😉

I think I’ll have 9 but two of those are Everton rubbers so in reality, 7.

I’ve got 7 now Silvers so in theory that could go to 9 but I probably won’t go beyond that and maybe not even that depending on what happens this week. It also depends on when I plan to WC after it for 34. Or if I do.

Yep, I agree totally. Largely depends on that WC plan really. I’ll probably play safe and go with 9 as my nearest ML rival just played his WC this week (no idea why!) and has about 4 for 31 so I’m expecting he may use the FH for it, which is even better really (for me), but as a result I want to be covering it fairly well.
