A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

  1. 8 points from 6 players. Anyone done worse?

    • 10 from 7, but I took a hit, so it’s effectively 6 from 7!

      • I am on 6 from 5 but took a 8 point hit.

Not to worried as my most important rival started the week 90 points behind me.

  2. Highflyiing two GWs halt.Looking at low Overall Avg.

  3. Today if Mane does well, the owners will have lot of advantage – I do not own him and thus feeling not great…. I don’t think Salah is a differentiator. Also, I don’t have any CHE player, another headache (though not sure how NEWC can do).

  4. Rich drop from 6.8 to 6.6..
Its to late for me to sell him..

    • He can only fall 0.1 per day

    • What do you mean? Rich is 6.8 only….assuming you bought him at 6.5, you will get 6.6 by selling. Basically we can wait for 0.1m price drop to delay the transfer as much as possible – as there are plenty of EFL cup games midweek (which are nothing but injury-traps).

      • Owh..i see.

        Thanks make it clear..

      • If there’s EPL, then it’s two games (like Vardy)

        • Great point DMC, yeah it’s two in FPL, we play Rotherham on Wednesday. Probably won’t effect the overall much though as most of the out transfers will be this week and then he’d struggle to meet thresholds beyond that anyway for further drops.

        • So he’s only missing two games? Don’t we still think we have to shift him on?

        • In that case he will be back for the trip to the Emirates Stadium.

        • Terrible point DMC! 😉

        • Might be a good point yet…….

      • hi GoalMachine, whereas you can, Walcott is rising tonight so costs you the 0.1 to wait

  5. I started planbing to bring Kane in for King and raising the funds through Erikson but that leaves me with only 3.7 to replace Erikson. So need someone else to make way – possubly Trippier but I’m not really feeling that. What is the best option for Richarlison replacement:
    A. 5.0 mid to raise funds to enable Kane move (gives me 5.3 for Erikson replacement)
    B. Walcott (gives me 0.1 extra itb to go towards Erikson replacement)
    C. Mickey leaving me no choice but to forget my Kane plans for a while

    • Oh the mickey move leaves me 0.0itb I guess the Walcott move also means forgetting about Kane for a while

    • Planbing was a typo but I like it for a plan b

    • hey db – it feels like you should wait until you see Spurs play. If Aurier plays for example, or Eriksen blanks or Kane gets a brace (or blanks) will all influence your decision

  6. Arrived home in time for the Liverpool game. Some unexpected results today. At least Salah scored smile
