Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.
Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.
Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

@eresh, the new rule is as below – so he will be back for ARS game. EPL site is correct.
Suspensions

This season, any cautions players receive will be specific to the competition they were playing in at the time. So, a yellow card in an FA Cup game, for instance, wouldn’t count towards a suspension in the Premier League.
However, red cards will apply across all competitions – although standard bans can now be decreased or increased in exceptional cases.

Richarlison suspension end date is 23-Sep and he can play the ARS game. Because next 3 matches are Rotherham (League Cup), HUD and WHU (EPL). The date is showing correctly in EPL site.

You are correct – its 23 Sep only. But thats a 3 match ban (including 1 League cup match this week + 2 EPL matches) – effectively 2 GW in this case you can say.

Ah! Well, to be fair (to me) I heard the Vardy bit in one of those Official FPL handle daily updates on Twitter. Haven’t confirmed the regulations themselves but it makes sense that only YC don’t count across all competitions. Red cards normally do (that’s what we have here for several years now) so it made sense to me.
Options are Richarlison to Walcott or Pedro. Or could do Richy and TAA (who appears to be a yellow card magnet to
…. Robertson & Fraser. Which seems best?

Same here, Wally has trolled me in seasons past.
Did me well last season, had him for his debut double and a couple of subsequent goals and then I exited. Perception is in the timing I guess. Which is of course lucky. Ish. Timing may be right again as he’s basically now our only reliable source of goals for a bit. And he’s nailed on, which is always a bonus.

My reflex thought is Walcott. Great fixtures and is nailed. I think forget about last season for now, just think Huddersfield and West Ham at home, for starters. Arsenal won’t have Everton quaking in their boots either (and Rich’ll be back then anyway).
Main alternatives I’m half-thinking about are Maddison and Groß.
I just know it’ll be Walcott.
