Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

what’s the smart strategy regarding richarlison. thinking to bring in either Walcott or Pedro. do it today or wait till after EFL match?

      GoalMachine says:

If you got him at 6.5m, then definitely wait. He is now 6.8m and evenif drops to 6.7m, selling price will not be impacted and stay 6.6m. In general unless the price fluctuation is impacting your moves, waiting is the smarter strategy.

      • Shrivathsa says:

Walcott was at 3.7%, at last check 80K odd had brought him in, if it is a straight swap, then do it, as if he rises to 6.6 you lose the 0.1 gain in the swap. If you do not care about the 0.1, waiting is better

I just hope that till Wednesday, no price change occurs for the popular picks….looks tight though. At least no impact till 0.1m drop for Richarlison, hopefully he will not drop 0.2m before Thursday.

    Jamie Mc says:

Salah was on either two or three bonus points for the whole of game then ends up with a big fat zero doubled to zero; makes no sense.

Anyway well delighted with 57 points with Alonso and sessegnon to go.

Green arrows all the way and maybe a hefty rise in the overall rankings.

Fpl price changes has wally over 100% so should increase by £0.1m tonight.

I would imagine that wally will increase by another £0.1m by next Saturday morning.

(Foolishly) I pulled the trigger tonight and transferred jota out.

Where can I see what I paid for Richarlison? Thanks!

    Pancho says:

Greetings all! Mostly really low scores so I’m not terribly disappointed. I did a -8 this week in order to ship out a few players before they dropped and grab a few before they rose. Happy with my team for the upcoming fixtures, but it puts me at 14pts right now. Alonso, Mitrovic, and Captain Kane left to save my GW!!! Will have to solve the Richarlison dilemma over the next few days before he drops twice…

Your team looks great. Only Bernado is not always a certainty.
Are you planning to bring in Walcott for Richarlison?
Does not look like R will drop tonight, but Walcott will most likely go up.
Tough when one does not have much cash around.

      • Pancho says:

I have a bit in the bank so I had options, but I went early with Wally for the price rise. Leaves me with .5 in the bank for the future. Likely to do Bernardo & Pickford -> Mkhi & Ederson/Kepa/Allison next week.

      Kralin says:

Not owning Salah seems to me…problematic. Why did you choose to be without him?

Kane is the answer, probably, one or the other.

      • Pancho says:

Kralin, I started with Firmino and Mane instead of Salah because I just liked the feel of the team better. I knew there would be downgrades available for Firmino once the 6.5m-7m forwards started to show who would score this season, but I wasn’t settled enough on one of them so I opted for double Pool instead of one of the cheapies and Salah. Hasn’t killed me yet… #FamousLastWords

        • Kralin says:

Firmino was someone I was planning to assess (had vague plans to swap him for Vardy maybe somewhere down the line) but Richarlison’s indiscretion has forced my hand elsewhere.

      • Sergio says:

A lot of people are hoping that Mane outscores Salah. I can’t see that happening in the long run tbh.
