Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

WanB is still suspended vs Watford. But he and Tomkins should both be fine for you at home to Southampton. Drop Cairney to bring in Tomkins. Keep Richarlison, you have a strong enough. Perhaps swap Cairney & Arnautovic for Walcott and Mitrovic?

      A strong enough squad/bench

This is in response to 114 constantine. (Sigh.)

      constantine says:

@gkw-Thanks a lot for the reply. Valid points, but Rich might drop .3m within this week only and furthermore the next week. I’ll lose money on him. Moreover having 1.9m itb is looking a waste to me if not used. Thinking of doing Rich to Pogba. Utd have decent fixtures after Spurs game.

      • Kralin says:

I fancy Walcott as a short term replacement – two games where he should get some chances. But Pogba is a good thought as well.

I’ll be giving the Richarlison issue some thought after this week has finished.

      • Smash says:

Yeah I’m looking at Theo. Not sure about it though

        • Kralin says:

I’m trying to put past differences with Theo out of my mind. Start with a clean slate. Everyone deserves a second chance, especially with two winnable home games looming.

He can be out on his arse doublequick if it doesn’t work out.

But I haven’t made up my mind 100%. The R suspension is annoying for me because I was planning on Alonso this week. However I could punt on Jorginho, or Neves, instead to enable that (have 2FTs).

          Will be pondering.

        • Mitro says:

its either Wally or Pedro for me

        • Smash says:

Yeah I have Pedro already. I’m looking at Theo and prob won’t be put off by the history. Though I might use the news and take a hit. Hazard and Ings in for Richarlson and Firmino

How will you guys handle the richarlison situation? Sell him and bring in walcott or just wait it out. They got some nice fixtures ahead so it would be nice to bring in walcott, but I’ll loose a bit of cash on that move, but I got 0,4 itb so I will at least be able to get richarlison back.

      secretzorro says:

Keep him, Kamara is a decent sub next time out, if needed

    • 116.2
      constantine says:

@Kralin. I believe he’ll drop upto 6.4m which is a waste of .2m as current selling price for majority of the people would be 6.6m. Also, it’s a waste of an important 4th mid space imo

      • Kralin says:

I won’t be benching, I’ll be replacing. If I benched him I’d be relying on a CP defensive double up for a fortnight. While that may be ok it would be pushing my luck a bit. Plus I don’t want to lose money on R.

Walcott is favourite for me (fixtures plus he’s getting the points at the moment) but I’ll have a look at Maddison, Groß, and have a think about Pogba.

        • Kralin says:

…and a think about Jorginho and Neves as well as short term replacements to allow improvements elsewhere.

I should probably do the Theo move quickly and stop overthinking things.

        • AllanBrallan says:

Rich to walcott is probably the move i will make. Walcott’s price will probably rise quickly now while richarlison is suspended…
I’ll just wait until the weekend is over so I don’t end upp with another injured player or something and has to take a hit….

Morning guys. Richarlison to Wally is the obvious move unless like me you had both! I got wally in to replace King and go 3-5-2…….. My problem this week is that I have 1ft and Mahrez seems to be a bigger issue for me. I have bench cover with wan b and zanka but what to do?
    Cheers

    Gavy says:

If Zaha plays well today and stays fit his him to Bobby a good move? I have the free tf and his next Zaha games are a lot better then pool. Would give me good funds to replace king the week after too.

    Zed Leppelin says:

Early thoughts (I won’t be making an early move [or maybe I will ]), do you fancy Alonso or Hazard?

    1) Davies/Richarlison —> Alonso/Wally
    2) Davies/Richarlison —> Peltier/Hazard

Have Boly to play instead of Peltier in option 2… Haz is tempting as a differential at this point… Will see how Chelsea do today of course!
