Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

    Obviously Richarlison is the priority. Also want Ralls out and wouldn’t be against going down to 2 liverpool players if it means releasing funds.

    Walcott in for Richarlison seems like the obvious answer but any other ideas?

    • I wouldn’t sell Ralls for a hit, most likely won’t be successful, so Richarlison to someone is enough I think! Wally, Fraser, Pedro are among the options, perhaps Wally is the best bet, great next 2 fixtures!

    • Keep an eye on Chelsea. If Pedro and hazard both start I favour pedro.

    Need to shift mahrez and Richarlison out.

  3. Hmmmm, so the Richarlson red has caused an issue. It’s a toss up between Wally and Miki. Originally my plan was to WC for the int-break but I’m fairly happy with my squad. My thoughts are, if i decide to WC for the int-break then it’s Wally as home to Hudd, but if i decide to stick then it’s Miki for the fixtures.

    • I went for Rich’ to Wally, but then I already have Mkhi’. Toss up, really! Do you want ARS coverage or EVE coverage?

      • Yea, complete toss up. Do you think a WC should be played for int-break ???

    I can afford up to £9.5M.

    I know my favourite but I’ll not prejudice it by saying.

  6. Need some help with chips (not for this week just an update on the rules).

    Free hit – if you use this, can you also use another chip in the same week? I assume the answer is no?

    Obviously I’d want to use Triple Captain on a DGW and the same with Bench Boost (later in the season when there is more money to spend on the bench). What’s the verdict on when Free Hit should be used?

    • You can’t use more than one chip in a gameweek. Ideally the free hit is used in a BGW when many teams will be missing due to engagements in other competitions.

      • Good shout, I was thinking that may be the best time.

      • Am I right in thinking that there is only one BGW this year (for the FA semis). There are no matches on quarter final week this year. So free hit should be much easier to manage.
