Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

  1. Be wary on the early transfers as there’s a load of league cup mid week games

  2. Well, I took a -8 this week and did Davies/Daniels/Cairney/Firmino out and
    Mendy/Alonso/Fraser/Mitrovic in
So far so good! Holding fire on the Cairney move wouldnhave seen me 7pts better off, but I like the moves long term for sure!

  3. Sunday evening averages are in…

  4. Top three scoring forwards are Aguero, Mitro and Wilson.

Pre GW1, all the talk was about Auba or Aguero with Arnie and Zaha nailed on in every squad

  5. Hello everyone, what would you with my team? 2 FTs, 0 ITB.
Lots of options, but at the moment I’m leaning towards Firmino and Tomkins out for Mitrovic and Alonso, holding Richarlison. Unless a -4 is worth to bring Pedro or Walcott as well.
I have many other options in mind but it would feel too tedious to list them, and really Mitrovic and Alonso are so appealing that it is my current view.
But I’m open to hear any suggestions?

    • I think you deal with Richarlison in all honesty Frenchie.

If you disagree then Alonso in with Firmino coming out for Mitrovic is a good compromise.

      • Thanks GP for the advice.
Do you think I could still do the same and take a hit to deal with Richarlison?
One alternative would be to do Firmino to Ings and Richarlison to Hazard.
Or just replace Richarlison and keep one FT.
        I’m really not sure.

  6. Bounus points have literally just altered in Watford Palace game.Zaha down to 0 ffs !

    • Sakho down to get 2 despite conceding 2 goals ……

      • no point working this BPS out brooky.. its shit. !! well done mate on your good score. any transfer plans for next week?

        • Sort Richalison out i guess though nobody in that price range inspires me !

        • not enough options true brooky. pedro/walcott are okayish but not that great
