Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.
Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.
Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

Mendy still on for 2 BPs.
Machine!
Indeed, wicked crosses but also suspect defending. Although Adama does what he does and now looks slightly more composed than he did at Boro.
I’m not impressed by who is in next to him either. I’m not sure on Laporte and it looks more and more obvious to me that Kompany struggles these days.
Agree GP. Thought the centre backs looked very suspect.
Traore made Mendy look very average as a defender too. I think that performance will inspire a lot of teams to have a go at City rather than sitting back.
Mendy is a beast going forward though.
Delicious!
Have they changed the bonus system? Feels like less bonus points are going to those who score the goals this season?
@Pancho – if you are still about mate. What’s all this stuff with Spurs and their new stadium? Hearing reports now that they might not play there all season! Where will they be playing there home games now?
Matt, they reckon it will be at least a couple of months before it’s done, if ever. https://talksport.com/football/415040/tottenham-hotspur-news-new-stadium-suffers-another-setback-burst-pipe-floods/
Bloody madness! I read somewhere possibly BBC that Spurs may get deducted points for this as something similar happened in the lower leagues and that team got deducted points but I think that may have been more wishful thinking.
Hey Matt, I’m in the dark on all that. Been avoiding reading/thinking about it because it’s so frustrating. We were really close and had done some trial stuff from what I saw but now that’s all gone down the tubes… pun intended…
You lot seem to be in a good bit of trouble this summer with no signings and no stadium.
Man City held at Wolves :/
Which is why you never captain the midday game.
Why?
Because you have to watch the rest of the weekend of football fearing rivals’ captains will go big.
Bloody Hamer gone off injured
Who?
Bastard!!! What happened to him?
collision with a cardiff midfielder matt
He was involved in a clash that took the Cardiff striker off too. Albeit Hamer tried to play on.
Clash of knees.
Bloody hell. It’s going to be one of those weekends I think. Cheers boys.
Great luck again!! Haha, unreal
OMG…Fantastic games both Ars and Whu. Its like battlefield there.
Chose Hamer over Pickford! That couldn’t have gone much worse.
