Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.

Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.

You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.

Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.

  1. Very early still, but how’s my team looking for next GW? Free hit active, next week planning to do Salah > Sterling and possibly use my TC on him. Then WCing in GW33 or 34.

    • You can only use one chip per week so you can’t TC in your FH week. Sorry to pop your bubble

  3. 47 for me with Salah © Mane and VVD to play. Could of been so much better. Got King instead of Wilson and went off captaining Sterling. Salah hat trick tomorrow would be nice.

  5. So thinking ahead to next week who are the must have players? I’ve currently got 7 players with 2FTs. I don’t really want to get rid of Rashford and Jiminez at this stage as I want them for gw32 and have a fair bit of team value built up in them! Any thoughts?

    • Is this assuming you go to 32 as you are with no chips played?

      • Hi init! Plan was to FH in 32 then have this bunch back for 33! The only reason I wanted to keep Rash and Jimi was the fact it would cost me nearly 1 mil more to buy them back than I’d get for selling them!

        • Yeah I agree with Cookie. Fairly sure I’ll be bringing in Wilson for Rashford even though will lose some value

        • Thanks guys! But wouldn’t you want Rashford and or Jimenez for the double? Meaning I’d be needing an extra 0.5 nearly on each if I wanted them back a week later?

        • Yeah maybe. If I’m looking ahead to GW32 free hit I’d have the Salah cash though as would not have him. Just like Wilson for the blanks and it’s about getting the points on the board now

        • Thanks Smash! So from the team above, would Rashford, Jiménez and Pogba to Wilson, Vardy and Richarlison be worth it for a -4? Giving me 10 players for 31!

    How did everyone get on? Anyone still got a capo to play?

    How many players will everyone have for GW31? I currently have 8 and I don’t know whether to do a -4/-8 to field either 10/11 or just run with what I’ve got.

    Init, if you are around could you send that spreadsheet over please? Need to sort out my chip strategy ASAP.

    What is everyone’s chip strategy at the minute?

    • Morning. 36 for me. TAA, VVD, Salah, Pogba, Rashford and Hazard to go. I have seven currently. Wilson will almost certainly come in for Rashford which will bring me to eight. I’ll probably take a hit and go with nine. McNeil or a West Ham defender I guess. Though I could bring in Barnes and Fraser for Dendoncker and Rashford I think.

      As for chips I’ll free hit in GW32 and wildcard in GW34. As for bench boost and triple captain just hope there is another double. Though Salah has Huddersfield at home in a single

        I will probably do Jimenez to Wilson, tempted to do pogba to mane or even Anderson to mane so I can get him out of my team.
