Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.

Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.

You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.

Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 30 from all at FF247!

    Question guys.
If I take a hit(may be -4), and play my Free-hit, will I get the changed team in the next week(post FH week)?
e.g. if I get Hazard and Higuain for Salah and Arnie for a -4, then play FH31(and don’t get either of them), will I be back to the Hazard/Higuain team in GW32?

So, I pulled the trigger on the FH chip, as was my plan. In a perfect world, what would your team be for this coming gameweek?
    My team so far:
    Fabianski (Boruc)
    Azpi Digne Rice (Stankovic, Simpson)
Mane (c) Salah Hazard Fraser Tielemans
    Vardy Firmino (Barnes)
This team leaves me with 0.1 ITB
Any thoughts are welcome. Maybe should change the defence…
    Thanks

Here’s my FH team. Pretty different from yours, but not necessarily any better…

Might change a bit along the way…

        Here’s my non-FH team as a comparison.

I recently took my 8th (record) 4-point hit of the season — admittedly, my 4th since February, mostly in preparation for these BGWs — it’s arguably only Barnes + Puncheon (don’t ask… laugh end me) vs Firmino / Higuaín + Wilson where I’ll suffer.

I’m a Chelsea fan but in terms of fantasy returns I just don’t see a lot of points coming this GW. Away to Everton. Higuain can put the ball in the net but he just doesn’t get that many opportunities. If Everton play anything like Wolves did, I see a low score draw. Chelsea pass, pass and pass some more but with very little end product. You’ve gotta go with Hazard and maybe Luiz/Azpi but you may get better returns from Firmino….

I am likely going to FH this week. My question is around how many players do you all replace? Meaning if you have say 3 playing in your lineup, would you replace all 12 not playing and have a bench or do you replace just enough to get 11 starting? What is you method to the madness?
