Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.

Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.

You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.

Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.

    • I’m torn here how many free transfers. Stick Mane and Wilson in there and you might get away with it

        • See what others think. I think you might get away with it with Mane and Wilson. Then you will have the core players. Could take another hit for one more

    • No. That would work with WC but FH returns to the original team and money itb the following week.

      • I think in that way you can increase your budget for the Free Hit, no?

    • I guess that’s correct, in the sense that you can keep that budget for the Free Hit only, however you can’t keep that budget for the subsequent gameweek…

      • Yea, I suppose that does make sense Zed. Will have to remember that one for next year smile

        Knowing my luck I would forget to confirm it after making 0.2mil at the end of the week anyway…

        • You could activate FH on day one and still make money changes during the week.

        • Problem is the amount of your time it takes and then you find at the end of the week you want a player who’s gone up by 0.3 and you bought and sold him for 0.1 extra budget

        • Also if you FH in GW31 there are not many expensive players you can even choose, so it makes little difference, so many cheap players you have to get, only Liverpool and Chelsea with expensive players there…

  3. Liverpool v Burnley

    • No resting at all then for City and Liverpool. Makes sense and it tells us that their are really prioritizing the premier league. May be important for the doubles later if they reach the next stage of UCL.

      • Nah it’s all about the teams with stuff to play for. The odd City injury is prob good as well

  4. Ouch missed the boat. Was going to get Vardy for Jiminez but they both changed price and now I can’t afford it.

    • Lol at Burnley goal. Only thing that makes that positive is that I know most people have 2 Pool defenders whereas I have just 1. Haha.

    Now if he can add a goal to that assist and a goal from Mane and we can wrap it up 😉 .
