Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.

Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.

You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.

Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.

  1. Can anyone tell me what’s going on with Alonso? Is he injured? Missing 2 games in a row and he’s not even on the bench?

    • He’s been passed.

    • He’s not a great player. Decent LWB but is not a great LB. he’s basically been dropped

  2. Can’t believe what’s happening.
    Salah inches close to 2 (more) assist…or at least a goal and an assist…
    Mane misses a sitter…from a TAA cross…
    That’s cca 30pts less…
    Luck is a big part of this game!!

        • On 75 points but cappo Salah failed me, again. Not having Sterling also really hurts me. sad Would be on 100 if I had him. Hehe.

    • In the last 14 goals scored by Liverpool, Salah has managed to score only one goal, just one!

  3. Chose TAA over Mane this week and Salah let’s me down once again.

    Can’t catch a break this season.

    No sterling either.

    • Can’t catch a break? I bet your skin is breaking up after so much trouble. :p hehe.

  4. Caught the last half hour of Liverpool there. Suddenly the Salah captaincy doesn’t look as solid for next week. His touch is way off right now.

    I might be inclined to go Firmino or Vardy.

    • Current form it’s prob Mane and I don’t have him

      • Will have to get him in, and cap him… It’s easy for me now I think, Mane over TAA that is.

    • That one near the end where he’d have more or less had a one on one had he controlled it just about sums his game up at the moment. Then again we said this right before and up to Bournemouth away……

      • Yeah quite often it’s his final touch that’s letting him down. Don’t think he’s far off a major score

        • He just seems to run with the ball and do nothing and eventually a defender gets the ball away… He’s off the pace, problem with his decision-making/vision imo!

        That was the one in particular I was referring to.

  5. Chelsea have been so poor in every game I’ve seen them play… Horrendous… Hazard is not dangerous at all…. Yet every time I don’t have him he scores braces, it’s a silly game, no logic in it whatsoever
