Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.
Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.
You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.
Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.
The games in full…

Did T.a.a go off injured ?
I don’t think so. Maybe fatigue
Didn’t seem to be injured, looked tactical. Not quite sure what the tactic was but it looked tactical
commentators mentioned something about the shoulder and not looking comfortable. hopefully its minor and he will be okay.
Saved for Bayern I guess. Thats a tight game in Munich.
true. wasnt mentioned in klopp’s post-conference so should be ok. we will find out by tuesday at least.
Of course bloody Jimenez scores
I sold him..so its quite likely. But I got Vardy for him – so not much sad. I guess the same is the case for many.
Jiménez!!! Get in
+1;; too bad i have jota benched and he outscored felipe anderson lol
Bringing Anderson has been a mistake so far…stuck with him till 33.
yeah. same here. wont be surprised if he even does nothing against hudders
Will he start vs Hudders? That is my worry now. Snodgrass, Lanzini, Arnie can start.
good question. should have just gone with lanzini as it was always the plan to have a short term whu attacker before the WC but stuck with felipe
CHE 10 shots, 3 OT – 0 Goal and Wolves 1 SOT, 1 OT, 1 Goal. This is called accuracy and conversion.
Also called Wolves are just defending while Chelsea are having the ball and they just scored from one counter(ish) attack…
That makes Patricio to get 9 points and laughing from my bench.
Arsenal v Man United
Come on Arsenal!! With Tottenham losing and Chelsea on the verge as well this game could be season defining.
Fingers crossed……Rennes match was a disaster, hope everyone already recovered.
rooting for arsenal win but do fear with not having either lukaku or rashford, they could be on the scoresheet tonight and damage me in my ML.
Wolves just love playing these bigger teams. They’re set up perfectly for them.
“Park the bus” is what it’s called, they lost twice to Huddersfield 😆
they felt bad for them and “gifted” the 6 points 😛
It’s definitely not that. They’re a good team with plenty of their own talents especially in attack and wide positions.
They’ve definitely parked the bus today at least… Think they’ve parked the bus a lot against the top dogs, perhaps not against Spurs, that was a great game!
Parking the bus, which is a stupid analogy anyway, is taking a 0-0 draw to begin with because you don’t have the talents to win a game. This isn’t. This is brilliant defending AND playing with good fast players and a system those players are brilliantly drilled in and who are able to counter superbly.
….. but I have Hazard so stuff them!
“Parking the bus” means whatever one means by it… What I mean by it is that you let the opposition keep the ball too freely, too much, let them come too close to your own goal, you basically have 9 or even 10 men very close to your own goal, that’s what they are doing here, trying to defend a 1-0 lead too much (imo), they could press more, try to attack more. Parking the bus can be a brilliant (albeit a very boring) tactic, but who knows they could have won this if they played more bravely is all I’m saying! Mourinho knows what it means
I remember very well when Jose first said it and know the context he meant.
Congrats on your/our Hazard points! :ok:
