Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31

A relatively normal GW, certainly it is if you now consider the norm to be non-stop televised football from 8pm on Friday until 10pm on Monday anyway.

Fulham and Wolves kick us off on Friday night, with fantasy interest probably a bit thin on the ground.

Saturday is relatively short lived for once with Man City and Leeds at lunchtime, Liverpool seeking revenge on Villa in the 3pm game before Palace welcome local rivals Chelsea at 5.30pm. You get the night off after that. To watch Match of the Day.

Sunday is more elongated with Burnley and Newcastle easing us in, literally, as we all find some hoovering or ironing to do instead. Be a good one to earn some brownie points in as the next two look delicious. West Ham and Leicester will go at it at 2.05pm before Spurs and Man United do likewise at 4.30pm. Sheffield United and Arsenal see the weekend out at 7pm.

Monday sees us with two games, the early one at 6pm being West Brom v Saints before Brighton welcome Everton to conclude GW31.

Just be aware that GW32 begins on the following Friday, there are CL games in midweek again and that 32 itself is an odd one: Palace don’t play, Spurs play twice and it goes on for almost a week, but more on that next week.

    Son to come in for the double game week to double up on spurs.
    But who goes?
    Salah away to Leeds or Bruno at home to Burnley?

    • Neither! Just don’t do it! He’s out of form and it’s two transfers. Those two transfers could easily score you more points elsewhere!!

        Let me get this straight
        Son in a double game week is not going to outscore Salah or Bruno.

        • Don’t focus on one game week. Son could score more than either in GW32 (but may not) however, it’s two transfers to bring him In and move him out (he blanks the week after). Who’s to say that those two transfers used elsewhere, in addition to whatever Bruno and Salah score will not be more beneficial.

      • Nice point Rosco. There could be better moves. Especially if you also have to transfer Son or somone else out for the blank.

    • Would you like to try Gundogan to Ndombele?

      Gundogan seems to be reserved for Champions League. May save you the extra transfer and get you some extra points

    • No point bringing in Son for 1 GW

  3. I never thought I would be happy to see this! I got very lucky, Dallas 3rd on my bench coming in. Hope you all got lucky to (as I doubt many would have played him by choice against Man City!).

    • At least you’re prudent enough to still have yours – mine went ages ago (AND I ain’t talking about my innocence! smile ) Just inform us of who you’re planning on getting GP (may I suggest TAA, Mo, DCL, DIgne and co. – I’m not currently holding any of those!).
      Hope you’re fine north of the border (and south of the border too, but I guess that’s a little bit personal!).
