A relatively normal GW, certainly it is if you now consider the norm to be non-stop televised football from 8pm on Friday until 10pm on Monday anyway.

Fulham and Wolves kick us off on Friday night, with fantasy interest probably a bit thin on the ground.

Saturday is relatively short lived for once with Man City and Leeds at lunchtime, Liverpool seeking revenge on Villa in the 3pm game before Palace welcome local rivals Chelsea at 5.30pm. You get the night off after that. To watch Match of the Day.

Sunday is more elongated with Burnley and Newcastle easing us in, literally, as we all find some hoovering or ironing to do instead. Be a good one to earn some brownie points in as the next two look delicious. West Ham and Leicester will go at it at 2.05pm before Spurs and Man United do likewise at 4.30pm. Sheffield United and Arsenal see the weekend out at 7pm.

Monday sees us with two games, the early one at 6pm being West Brom v Saints before Brighton welcome Everton to conclude GW31.

Just be aware that GW32 begins on the following Friday, there are CL games in midweek again and that 32 itself is an odd one: Palace don’t play, Spurs play twice and it goes on for almost a week, but more on that next week.

The games in full…

Holding or Philips? …till the end of the season.
    Both of them nailed?

Thinking Dias and McCarthy to Lloris and Reguilón. Currently have the exact funds. 0.3m ITB and 2 fts.

I’ll then have 3 spurs for the double and 4 outfield blankers for GW33 with 1 ft to sort that. It’ll be tight but could come off perfectly.

Also still have BB to use so will need a playing 2nd keeper at some point anyway

    Thoughts?

Did anyone watch the wolves game? Did neto look he was out for a while or was it just a safety sub out?

What to do with Gundogan? Thinking of Moura (thanks GP)? Would then do Moura to Maddison the week after? Or would it be better to ignore the one week punt and go straight for Maddison? No hits needed all FT (1.7ITB, not enough for Son).

I’m not saying he’s a sure thing, in fact, I’d wait to see how they line up later and see if that gives us an indication.

With Maddison that’s a tricky one. The deadline is this Friday but Leicester don’t play their league game until the Thursday and have the Cup Semi Final that weekend. I’m sure that they’ll want him in peak for that game probably even if it is to the detriment of the league game after it (if he’s unable to play both).

Yes it is a risk. I kind of think Bale might be used as a flat track bully against Sou and Shef Utd.
