Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33. From 15 games we go straight to the other end of the spectrum with just 6. And boy is this one dragged out! We begin on Friday evening with Liverpool going to Southampton, for a game for once, not just a scouting mission. Saturday then sees just three games and all are at 3pm. Bournemouth entertain Burnley, newly relegated Huddersfield host newly invigorated Leicester and Palace take a trip up north to Newcastle

Just the one game on Sunday as Everton welcome Arsenal before Chelsea ‘welcome’ West Ham on Monday to see us out for the final BGW of the season.

The games in full…

  1. TAA subbed at 58 mins

  2. Come on Liverpool. Dont let kops words come true.

    • Painful to watch!

    • I was close Raz 😉

      • Glad you weren’t in the end. There is still hope. Light at the end of the tunnel. I heard people in England have a disliking for Liverpool like many have for Ajax in the Netherlands. I however, like the way the team has been the time I’ve seen them. Might be because of Kuyt and Suarez, don’t know but I sort of wish them succes. Especially since it’s been decades. Nothing special if ManU, ManCity or Chelsea win.

  3. Glory for glory hunters!! Yay…

  4. At least Pool won. smile

    • Made up. Need them to still be alive and fighting come Huddersfield at home for the TC smile

      • Yeah that makes it difficult on wildcard

        • That’s true, never actually thought that far ahead in terms of how it actually happens!!

        • Bench-boost is available though so one or two SGW players isn’t a massive problem (as far as I can see).

And Brighton – who I appreciate may not repay our faith – may help (in terms of supplying DGW players in 34 to offset SGW players in 35). That does sound like classic over-thinking.

I’m slightly febrile after that Liverpool win.

      • City will lose to United, no worries….

        • They won’t!

        • I doubt it. Not unless they want to lose it. I can see them annihilating that Utd side. I’m seeing Spurs as the best hope. And I think City will win that, as well.

And Liverpool have a deeply symbolic home game v Chelsea to negotiate. Chance to lay a few demons to rest, I hope.

        • Remember the match last season, City 2-0 up at halftime, season over…

    • Yeah, such a shame sad

  5. I should have listened to Cookie and just played Hojbjerg instead of taking a hit to get Pereira in for Diop. Glad captain Salah came though with a goal, but yellows from him, Mane, and Robbo killed me…

    • hey Pancho. I captained Mane over Hazard

      • Tough one dreamers, but a great win for your lot! You are a Pool fan, right?

        • Ya, big big win. Still cant see City dropping points. Hoping Spurs take a point off them but unlikely

    • Yeah…very annoying that plus ATT coming off at 58mins. Have to be happy with 11 pts from 3 I guess.

    • Most managers – or most sensible managers – will have 3 Liverpool players this GW so everyone’s in the same boat.

Plenty of fun and games this GW yet.

    • Hindsight mate!

  6. I won’t want Pogba on a wildcard will I?

    • I’m keeping him for now, mainly due to the WHU (home) game in 34.

Vague plan to move him on for someone sexy in 35. Someone like Son, maybe.

Let his price fall a bit first though (obviously).

    • No you don’t Smash!

      • Oh yes he does.

        • Oh no he doesn’t

        • Oh no he doesn’t. laugh

        • (Removes his jacket). OK. Who says he doesn’t?

(Entire community shouts ‘me’ in a threatening way.)

Er – look over there (points feebly to the left).

          Exeunt (very briskly).

        • Oh yes he does as he’ll score against City 😉

        • I knew I could pass my jacket to someone, Zed.

Your chaps gave Liverpool a good game tonight. I’ve been furiousy refreshing YouTube so I can see the Salah goal and all I’ve seen so far is the hopeless defending that led to the first Southampton goal.

        • Mane might be rising and I might want him. Still have value in Pogba but he’s playing really deep and stats have gone way down hill

        • The first half was great but the second not so much, obviously it was a combination of Pool forcing a goal and us getting a bit out of sorts after the hour mark… This hazelnut guy has done good job nonetheless and I’m rather happy!

    • Actually, Pogba aside naturally, do we want any Man U players? Not the most attractive of games and they could well be reeling from Barcelona as well. And may even rest players for the WHU game. Hmm.

    • Wudnt think so Smash

    • I think he’ll appear in alot of WC teams.
Unlike Salah, who I think will go to allow Kane to be included with Aguero.
