Bournemouth entertain Burnley, newly relegated Huddersfield host newly invigorated Leicester and Palace take a trip up north to Newcastle

Just the one game on Sunday as Everton welcome Arsenal before Chelsea ‘welcome’ West Ham on Monday to see us out for the final BGW of the season.

The games in full…

Just checked my rank on livefpl.net as Fix seems to have gone Awol and I’m up to 90k! First time I’ve been in the top 100k all season, though I appreciate it’s still early days in this gameweek – let alone the remaining five gameweeks!

    Yay or nay?

    Or do I need Kane?

Lol, just noticed all my 3 pool players got a yellow. HAHAHA. How is this possible?

Who am I missing in this WC team? I’ll have to rethink things if Aguero is looking fit, but I could wait until the next GW to get him in.
    Rip it apart please!

Pep said he was almost ready for the semi so he should be fine, in theory, but see how the Spurs game goes etc. I’d imagine he starts both if he’s fit. I reckon I’ll have him on mine if so.

      • Pancho says:

Thx Init, although with us facing City 3 times in 10 days I was honestly hoping he’d be out a couple of weeks. Heartless I know, but he scares the crap out of me! Of course I’d rather beat them with him, but that’ll be a much bigger task!

Aguero is back training already I think

Other than dumping a few Brighton players in my side I haven’t quite thought through 35 just yet.

But Kun/Kane/Jiminez is potent if possible.

Deulofeu / Jota look like good enablers for the likes of Sterling, Spurs’ mids – and of course Pogba.

And again, Watford and Wolves look ok on the cheap defender front.

Ramsay could be a one to have

      • Kralin says:

Yes – Rambo. He could be excellent value.

I’ve been ignoring them (Arsenal), in the way I ignored Spurs in the FH team last week. I suffer from this one-eyed perspective sometimes. I find having to think about too many players just distracts me. But I will think about Rambo. Arsenal’s fixtures are ok, they’re still in the hunt for third, and they don’t play City.

      • Pancho says:

Hammers, my issue with Ramsay is that I don’t have any confidence that he’ll start both. Yes, there are always a few players in my Wildcard DGW team who don’t start both, but I’d rather be surprised someone doesn’t start both than go into thinking a player isn’t going to. Just my approach I guess. To be honest, I’m not sure Kolasinac plays both either…

        • hammers says:

Tbh I probably agree on Ramsay not playing both.

Kola though should play. They will be fighting to grab top 4 and I dont think he’s got that much competition for his position whereas Ramsay has.

Just a start to a wildcard team! Any thoughts? Would it be worth keeping the likes of Mane/Hazard even though they have a sgw?

    • 29.1
      Kralin says:

Possibly, though I find the lure of a DGW + Bench Boost too difficult to resist.

Your side looks fine without them. Great front three and hard to quibble with the rest.

Be aware though some players’ prices may fall tonight – http://www.fplstatistics.co.uk/ – so maybe move for them tomorrow when they’re (maybe) a bit cheaper. Similarly if you’ve after anyone due to go up tonight then grab ’em now.

    • 29.2
      inittowinit says:

They play each other and I can’t see there being a great lot of goals in it. Definitely worth keeping a SGW player though if you find one worth it who is compatible with a DGW one and an easy switch for the latter week. Someone like a Burnley defender over Boly in your case above would be a decent example.

    Raziel says:

Sighs. Annoying. Need to activate wildcard and create a temp team for price drops and rises already. But have no time. Haha.

    • 30.1
      inittowinit says:

Takes less time than it probably did to make that comment, just grab the risers that you may potentially want; Leno, JWP and Wilson. Not saying you will want them but they’re the only potential ones I can see who are actually going up. Nobody major going down that you’d have this week I wouldn’t think, maybe Pogba aside.
