Just the one game on Sunday as Everton welcome Arsenal before Chelsea ‘welcome’ West Ham on Monday to see us out for the final BGW of the season.

So from reading through the comments it seems best to activate wildcard ASAP. Could I get some advice on players to bring in to avoid price rises?

You have more faith than me in the Arsenal defence Smash!
Love that frontline – I have the same.
Lots of nice picks in there. Cameras is a good shout for DGW34 and presumably use FT in 35 to move him on.
I’m planning on dumping my Pool players completely, but have seen a lot of WC teams retaining them. Are you benching them for GW34 then?

      • Chipster says:

Whoops, I mean Camarasa (grrr, auto correct). I’ve lost my ability to edit comments so will have to be more careful when I type now 😀

      • Smash says:

I worked from front to back. I like the front three. Yeah I’m not completely sure. Liverpool have some straight forward games to come and I’d expect to want Salah for that Huddersfield home game as may even want to triple captain him in that one so will need some sort of plan. Camerasa yeah for this week but not sure I like the idea of getting rid after. Really not sure on double Arsenal at the back but I do think both hold decent value

      • inittowinit says:

Difficult to ignore them for 35 given the fixture and you’d ordinarily want 3 of them for that and then Huddersfield at home. Haven’t looked properly myself yet but I can’t see me not carrying at least one through the doubles with a view to adding a 2nd or more for 36. Given how many DGW players didn’t actually play a DGW in the last one I see no harm in going for singles with a great fixture.

        • Smash says:

Yeah I do not want to go without Liverpool for sure. Especially with Huddersfield at home coming up. Not sure I can justify Salah price tag for next two but can see me wanting him back after

        • inittowinit says:

Do you have TC left? I do and so that’s a fair consideration in what I’ll do as I’ll want Salah and / or Mane for 36 for that.

        • Smash says:

Yeah I do. Yeah I’ll want Manè and prob Salah for that one. That might be the week for triple captain. Problem is I’d prefer that on Salah than Manè I expect

        • DMC says:

I’m going SGW players-less I think. I’ll plan to save a FT in 35 to do Kane->Firmino + Sterling>Salah (or something similar) with a view to TC Mo. A hit to also bring Mané would be discussed after dgw35.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

I am chasing big time so I think i’m More than happy to take risks, so might go without any Pool to GW35 and then use 2FTs to get them in for GW36…

      Leprechaun says:

      Hey Smash,
I like it a lot of it but why 2 Liverpool players and Camarasa? Maybe some risk of Aguero playing time if he is not 100%.

      • Smash says:

Camarasa double this week and bench JWP was my thinking there. Aguero tends to always play now and he’s back training. Liverpool keep winning so City can’t ease off is my thinking there. Is an Arsenal forward a better option possibly…Only tough game in run in is Chelsea at home for Liverpool other games are not difficult. Cardiff away in single could see equal/more points than some double players who might even play once

        • Leprechaun says:

          All fair points mate.

        • Kralin says:

Another issue is that taking hits to get Liverpool players back is problematic (for me, anyway) in that so late in the season those -4s and -8s are harder to claw back.

Excellent points by Init and Smash.

    Leprechaun says:

So now we can have a bit of WC fun….well at least until the players disappoint or the managers rotate them to the bench smile

A rough idea – can’t get excited about ManU but that could change. Pep rotation is also (always) a risk.
I am looking for some differentials to jump up the ML a bit.

    Leno, Ryan
    Laporte, Duffy, Kolasinac, holebas, Valery
Eriksen, Hojbjerg, Ward-P, Deulefeu, Salah (could become Sterling in 35)
    Kane, Laca, Jimenez
Would still leave me with £1.6m

Should I go for more expensive options in midfield? Who though?
    What do you think folks?

    • 36.1
      Smash says:

Think the midfield might need some work. But you have a decent base there for sure. I quite like Jota but not sure how I’ll squeeze him in my side.

      • Leprechaun says:

        Yes I like Jota too.
Last night the Soton boys put some good pressure on Liverpool and I think they might have enough fight about them to do well in the next couple of GWs
