Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34. Back to some semblance of normality, although even then we have a double game-week of sorts to contend with this week.

Once again we begin on Friday night, this time with a bubbling Leicester hosting a bumbling Newcastle.

Saturday sees six games in total. Spurs welcome Huddersfield in the early one before Brighton and Cardiff play the first of their ‘DGW’ games with Bournemouth visiting the former and Burnley hosting the latter. Relegated Fulham then welcome Everton and the Saints play a crest fallen Wolves. The late one on Saturday sees West Ham taking a trip to Old Trafford to play Man United.

The title race resumes on Sunday with Man City going first again as they visit Palace before Liverpool play catch up at home to Chelsea.

Watford and Arsenal are our Monday night entertainment before the DGW giants of Brighton and Cardiff clash on Tuesday evening.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Mane & Robo save my GW..

    • Yah Salah and Robbo for me, my hopes are pinned on Deeney now!! Guy in my ML who has no chips scored 74 this week… he only has 4 DGW players at present so have to hope all this planning counts for something!!

  2. How did we all fare? 54 for me with Deeney and Duffy+Ryan. Thought it would be decent but with Mane and Salah scoring I suppose that’s average.

    • Good going, DMC, especially with your Moura punt.

I’m on 48 points at present, but only Duffy and Murray remain, so those Liverpool goals probably tinted my small green arrow red today.

Murray —> Deeney for DGW35 looks like the most unnecessary transfer of my season…

      • Ehehe yeah, scrapping the barrel there. Murray was a good pick for 34 on paper. We all knew he probably wouldn’t play both and I reckon they chose to have him fit for the six pointer vs Cardiff. If he scores well in that one you may still rethink that move.

      • I half thought of Murray myself. The only semi-positive thing about yesterday’s debacle at the Amex was that miraculously the Brighton defenders didn’t end up on minus points.

The GW’s not over yet. Brighton have got to win that game. Murray’s not a bad pick at all.

    • 66 for me with Deeney Duffy and Dunk to go.

    • 35 :/ with Ryan, Duffy and somo more, cant load the official fpl site so i actually dont remember my players ;p

    • 54 with Dunk and Ryan to go. Just a bit annoying my rival on 75 with a bench boost

    • 41 so far, very poor!! Let’s hope DGW makes up for it!

    • 37. Awful.

    • 47 with Deeney,Duffy and Ryan to go.I’d have taken 50 poimts after yesterdays pile of :poop:

  3. Time to wildcard laugh

    • Be interesting to see after this gw

    • And I should of used bench boost this week but I didn’t. This is what happens when you are on holiday.

Now I have to figure out when to use the bench boost. Oh yeah I have to triple captain on double game week too.

      • Not sure if GW38 best time but Saints play Huddersfield at home and have very cheap players

  4. What moves is everyone planning this week?

    • Dunk out for any 6,1 defender. But don’t know who… maybe Cathcart….

    • I will be moving vardy in probably to Lacazette, also considering moving Toby on along with Eriksen 😉

    • Dunk out for Jonny I think

    • Moving away from FPL

    • Dunk out and possibly Vardy out as well.

Will see how the dust settles after Europe.

This GW is far from finished though. Brighton: The Comeback.

    • Vardy to Deeney and possibly Eriksen to Salah

      • I’m fairly happy with Eriksen for 35. Brighton sit there as well as City.

        • I’m not convinced that its worth a -4 to get Salah, will probably wait until gw36

        • I’ve pretty much cut myself off until 36, and am ok with choosing to do that. It was a decision I made when wildcarding and I don’t want to dismantle that side. The plan is as it was: remove Dunk and possibly remove Vardy.

If Kun gets injured before 35 I may get Firmino.

        • Yea Bobby might be a great option, I have Robertson and Mane already. Will get a third pool player, time will tell which one. If I go with Bobby for Vardy then Eriksen might be Kdb instead

  5. Averages

    • I can vouch for the BB pts on behalf of all of the 0.9% of us BB-ers this week smile

    • Thanks. Always interesting when the overall average is higher than the top 10k. But we know why that is, and why it won’t be the case next GW.
