Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!

We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.

The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.

Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.

Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.

The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 36 from all at FF247!

What a night last night! Still can’t get over it. So much so, I still can’t bring myself to swipe away the notifications laugh

I’m perpetually confused about decisions I make. I suppose having the TC left means you could make giant strides in the penultimate or final week. Not the worst position to be in.

I had Salah captain and Mane but still fell in my ML. That seems wrong.

…or sounds like you’re in a strong ML.

Anyhow, now the dust has settled then there are a lot of points to play for today; the icing on the cake hopefully a goal and CS from Duffy in the final game of the day.

Nice to start a Saturday without the stress of setting up my team! I like these Friday night games ( and captains!) let’s see what today brings!

Talk about ‘cats amongst pigeons’! So a great percentage of the FPL community is on a collective high this morning – especially those with Salah as Cpn! That can’t be a bad thing for us all! The hangover will come later when we all discover that huge scores were ‘de rigueur’ – and we could still be subject to red arrows. But for the moment, Saturday morning optimism reigns! Let’s bathe in it! Some suggestions – Smile at your neighbours; compliment your butcher’s new striped apron; whistle the theme tune from ‘Bridge over the River Kwai’ while walking your dog; Tilt your head in admiration at the cricketing ability of the kids in the local park (DO NOT stand there too long, as this may be perceived as ‘creepy’, and reduce the positive vibrations engendered originally by the respective braces of Momo and Sadio!); Offer to make toast for your partner at breakfast; Offer to buy the first round if meeting some friends at your local; Leave some crisps for the others if having a snack with your beer etc etc etc . These are all examples of positive things we can do to ensure our ongoing and upward-looking karma before the other matches begin – hopefully encouraging the remaining players to perform superhuman feats in a similar vein to Salah, Mané, TAA et. al.(and especially our bench cheapies & goalies, if we have activated the BB this GW!)!!!
Carpe Diem good FPL folk, Carpe DIem!!!! Could it ever get better????
(Having said that, I’m only on 50 points and feel envious of those who TC’d!!! Human nature – it’s a treacherous mongrel isn’t it? smile ) .
Bye for now one and all! Much cheer from AJW!

well said AJW. started the week off with 51 points behind the ml leader, sitting 3rd. both rival and 2nd ML rival had mane, allison and TAA.they didnt captain a pool player. having played TC salah. mane and TAA worked out well in the end and im tied at the same points as my ml leader and the person in 3rd is 6 points behind me. should be an interesting 14 days now and it could come in winning my ML from outta nowhere. hope you have a good day mate nonetheless.
