Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!

We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.

The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.

Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.

Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.

The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 36 from all at FF247!

Hey guys…..thoughts on Eriksen to Pogba?

Not for me. Have lost faith in the fellow.

      Kralin says:

In theory yes – good fixtures, etc, but the Pog hasn’t been himself in recent weeks, the haul v WHU notwithstanding. I own the Pog and won’t be dropping him now but it’s in the hope of one more penalty rather than anything else. At least Man U are still in the hunt for CL places, so they do have something to play for. On paper those fixtures are almost perfect.

However the cheaper Milivojevic, master of penalties (while we’re on the subject), could come in for you instead – not bad fixtures either – and enable something else.

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Mathematically they are but think they really needed a win yesterday, United are out of the CL to me, even if they win both games (and I think they will) they will end up on 71pts but they have the worst GD of the teams involved so Spurs only need one draw and Chelsea one win to reach 71pts, Arsenal is there too…

        • Kralin says:

Oh I know, Zed. Yet all those teams’ form has been patchy, to say the least, losing games for fun. So I suppose with United GW37 is still ‘live’.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

United’s form has been quite patchy as well, to say the least smile Think Arsenal are out of it as well with their form, but Spurs is very much in the CL, but of course anything could still happen…

    Pancho says:

I see a lot of people talking about getting rid of Son. Just curious about this. Bournemouth aren’t really known for their defense and TC accumulation has Son sitting out Tuesday against Ajax. He will surely be rested and ready to pop the cherries on the weekend…

      Pancho says:

      Should have said “YC accumulation”…

      Zed Leppelin says:

Agree, I will most certainly keep him, don’t see any reason to sell… I will probably just save the transfer as my team is in good shape, then sell two Wolves lads for GW38 perhaps…. Perhaps some folks are seeing the pull factor of, say, Pogba and are selling because they want him rather than because they want to sell Son

      Kralin says:

Here’s hoping. I’ll be keeping him. If I could do a direct swap to Sterling I may waver but Son seems a good option this weekend, for the reasons you state.

With all the talk of Hazard last night I did have a minor wobble in my thinking but I doubt I willdo that.

      DMC says:

Pancho, the reason I advocated for selling him is because he has been out of the FPL points recently and the B’mouth game comes between the two CL ties. They can afford to lose that game so it screams rotation.

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah but Son is suspended for the first CL game, and Spurs can’t afford to lose that game, that would be leaving it all to the last game of the season especilly if United, Arsenal and Chelsea win their games, so Son will most likely play that game, and Bournemouth can’t defend at all, made huge mistakes that we punished last week…

I would have taken my 117 at the start of the GW.

    Ergo, good times.

    Happy Monday all.
